Tomlin has to "self-educate" himself, AND the front office has to hire council TO TRAIN HIM UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL !!!

SHeesh !!! How are so many of these guys getting paid millions per yr to be dirt bags !?!?!

Now don't let me get started on the clown-refs !!

    Smh...the NFL...smh

    You're welcome.

Tomlin is not HOF caliber until he wins another Super Bowl. Cowher has a better resume for the HOF at this point, because of more playoff wins and it looks like he won't be inducted any time soon. IMO, I don't believe Tomlin will ever win another Super Bowl. He had his chance from '14-'16... but now the window has shut and he'll have to win one with his own drafted QB when Ben retires. I don't see it happening.

My job is amazing. I can flip burgers and post on the SF forums at the same time. Life is grand.

If Ben plays 3 more seasons as projected the window doesn't close until then and i agree one more SB win makes him a lock in my opinion. It won't hurt to continue his non-losing season streak. I hope he and his staff and players also adopt a more God given sense approach to these games...especially in late moments. I credit a lot of Patriots success in big games to players and coaches on opposing teams outhinking themselves. Thats what Belichek doesnt do.

Tomlin is not in the same league as Belichick. All active NFL head coaches are not in the same league as BB... so I guess I'll give Tomlin some slack.

I don't think Ben is going to play 3 more years. I'll believe it when I see it. Maybe 2, tops. 2019 is the last year of his contract. Ben got lucky this past season by not missing any games. It's more likely than not, he will miss at least 2 or 3 games in '18. The problem with Ben... he always starts out games rusty and in this past year.... an entire half a season, to get warmed up and playing up to par. The Steelers no longer have the luxury of a top defense to bail the offense out. The offense will have to be firing on all cylinders, all the time, to win 11+ games in '18. The schedule has the AFC West and NFC South matched up against the Steelers along with the Patriots. Brutal, to say the least.

Every team in the AFC West can beat the Steelers... with Gruden at the helm with the Raiders and Chargers surging in the 2nd half of '17. Every game vs. the NFC South will be hell, except maybe the Bucs... but we know how the Steelers play against sub-par teams. The Bucs game will be a sure loss. It wouldn't surprise me if the Steelers beat Panthers, Saints and Falcons and lose to the Bucs. Happens every year... the loss to the Bucs will prevent either a #1 seed or playoff bye... or maybe even a playoff berth!

Yup, they always have a shot as long as Ben is playing and at the level he did last season.

Part of what makes getting bounced this year so painful is that Ben played a full season. Hope the line continues to be among the best pass protecting lines in the league. Why it was so important for Munch to come back. Have to keep Ben upright.

Add to my list of improvements for Tomlin. Never sit your starters the final week of the season if you already have a bye week. We have seen teams that do that come out flat time and time again. Anyone remember the 05 Colts? They sat their players and got stomped in the first half by a hungry Steelers team who had been fighting for their lives for weeks. By the time the Colts shook off the rust it was too late. The Jax game reminded me of that.
