What's Tomlin going to do when Ben retires

You know I think about this a lot . And I tell you what the answer is not Landry jones or Joshua Donna . And with Tomlin here it scares me that we will go through some frustrating years . Hopefully Ben has got about 3 more good years in him and we draft a franchise QB in the draft and let him sit for a year or two behind Ben and learn. Thoughts anyone ??? Don't worry I won't argue with you like a child lol

 

Honestly I think it might be Dobbs...

I wouldn't mind, if Dobbs is just an average qb, going back to a power run scheme like the Jaguars have.

 

The correct question is what are the Steelers going to do when Ben retires? The answer is to find or draft another quality QB. Even teams without "Ben level" QB's found ways to win games. The Steelers can do the same in the future.

 

The same as George Seifert when he left the 49ers.

 

Good defensive teams will stop a power run scheme, like the Pat's did in the second half and like Tennessee did twice to the Jags. The Steeler's did nothing on defense to stop them but we were not a good defensive team.

In todays NFL i think you need a good QB more so then a good power run game, although It's better to have both and Dobbs ain't gonna get you there.

Defense wins football games. Since Tomlin is such a defense guru, what are yall worried about.

 

When Ben is gone MT is gone.
