I think Hines would be a good one, but I'm not ready to throw his name in there just yet. Would be nice if he had some experience coaching first, other than the little he has done here helping out.

I wouldn't mind if they brought in Lonnie Galloway from Louisville for an interview. I know he had that incident with the Wake Forest radio guy giving him some game plan info, but the team would have to look into that deeper. Dude can produce some good WRs though.

Kasey Dunn at Oklahoma State would be another from the college ranks. Their two WRs there had great seasons.

    Any others??

Ward. He just strikes me as a guy that can teach and has a wealth of experience to draw from.

And come on, who wouldnt want to see that smile back on the sideline.

Everyone wants ex Steelers to come in here and coach.

I'd rather just hire great coaches.

Plus it makes it awkward when you need to give them the axe.

How long will Porter, Jerry O, and Lake hang on here when when their time should be up?

Hines is already working with Brown..Bryant and Ju Ju ..the results speak for themselves..all they have to do is make it official. And having his attitude back in the dressing room will help too. He'll be in striking distance when somebody acts up again. He was on the sideline working with the players during the Jags game.

I'd rather they get an outside guy for WR coach. Having Porter, Lake and Hines, to me, reinforces the problem of a Buddy buddy coaching staff. Hines is a local celebrity, so the media will eager to report his take after every game, certainly more so than some outside guy who came from Utah St. And Hines loves the microphone, has had differences with Ben, so he offers a chance for more drama, which this team doesn't need. It's not like he has an established track record indicating that he can coach.

Lots of fans will love having Hines back. But if it were up to me I'd pass.

We don't have WR coach. We have the best group of WR's in the NFL. Now we need a WR coach?

I love Hines Ward so I'd gladly have him on our coaching staff. Just making a point. I know Haley had WR coaching experience. Maybe he's the guy responsible for developing one of the best WR groups the NFL has ever seen? Not a 1st round pick in that group yet I'd take Brown, JuJu, Bryant, and Rogers over any 4 in the NFL.

Fichtner was our receiver coach from 07 to 010, and did a damn good job developing young guys like Holmes AB and others: So in his offense as OC he can certainly help our receivers:

Fichtner's NFL coaching debut began in 2007, serving as wide receivers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers as part of new head coach Mike Tomlin's regime, replacing the promoted Bruce Arians. He was instrumental in the development of the Steelers young wide receiver corps, mentoring Santonio Holmes to multiple 1000-yard seasons and a Super Bowl MVP award as well as supporting the growth of emerging wideouts Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, and Antonio Brown.

How are you gonna keep Hines, who never met a media microphone he didn't like, who doesn't need a coaching job to make a living, who the media all know is good for a quote, from talking?

Most former great players don’t make good coaches as their god given talent were the biggest factor.Hines worked his butt off to become great as there were plenty of wide receivers in his draft class with more physical attributes! He has great passion and smarts to help young receivers play up to their potential!Unlike some of the other former star players who became assistants with us I think he could really make a difference!
