I'd go with a fired head coach looking for a chance at a ring. You'll all kill me, but I'd love Rex! Also have Fisher, Pagano, Del Rio, Fox. A guy with extensive experience plus head coach experience to maybe help Tomlin with his head scratcher decisions and game planning.

He's overrated, Buffalo players were openly complaining about his scheme.

Of those, I'd only even think remotely about Del Rio.

Maybe go after Arizona former DC, now that Arians has retired.

Keith Butler will get a pass because of all the injuries. The issue is the Steelers have come up lame on Davis, Dupree, and Burns in recent years.

Their D line, as good as it is, can't stop the run consistently.

If you don't look at Ben, Brown, Bell, JuJu, Bryant, half of our O-line, and see that they are among the most talented in the league you're blind. We arguably have the best QB, RB, and WR in the NFL. At the very least top 3 at each position. Tell me one other team that can claim that? Defensively we lack playmarkers. I think Heyward and Shazier are great...Watt has a promising future, the rest is pretty average with the exception of our safeties who are awful. The talent we have on defense isn't much different then what the Patriots boast, I'd argue we are more talented then most defenses collectively. The jags have a better defense but their offense is a joke compared to our personnel yet we allowed 45 points off of gaffes, bad play calls, sloppy play, and arrogance from our HC. We are a stupid team that is very talented.

Hes got a Superbowl win and an appearance which makes it even harder to fire him.

There's a lot of talent on offense, not so much on defense.

I think resting his big guns in week 17 didn’t help. Look at the patriots. Played everyone including Brady which is why they were sharp. And what was mike Mitchell thinking saying they will beat the patriots. So stupid. In sports never ever overlook the current weeks opponent. Never! Team looked so lack luster

He had that SB win 9 years ago, the SB loss to GB was 7 years ago. That's a lifetime in the NFL.

Since losing to GB 7 years ago they have won 3 playoff games ... one of which was that gift from Cincinnati 2 years ago.

Out-coached, out-played, out of the playoffs. Nobody is happy with this performance but calling for the likes of Rex Ryan is ridiculous. It's yet ANOTHER learning experience. I don't know the answers. Cleaning house and starting from scratch seems like we consign ourselves to the 1980s thru 1990s. Always close but no cigar. Then I start to think we ARE those teams. Tomlin has a winning record. I don't think he is going anywhere. I have a headache.

I agree. Butler seems to get a pass while a lot of people are calling for Haley's head. I don't know what the Steelers saw in him all those years when he was hailed as LeBeau's heir apparent.
