Nice seeing our new guys getting right into it. Ta’amu looks like a beast! Could have watched the whole practice if someone would have only filmed it!

I was thinking that too when I was watching the video. I guess being 6'4" helps with that. :)

I'm sure it does a bit...but we're only talking 3 inches taller than Casey...and like 25lbs heavier...so you'd think he'd still show his weight but wow...I was impressed...some said before about being concerned with his weight...but I dont think it will be a problem after seeing him.

Yes, but look at their bodies. Casey looks like a meatball with legs and this dude looks thick and tight.

I'm gonna say it now, David DeCastro will be one of the most beloved Steelers in history. He embodies everything we like to think we are. He will be up there with Aaron Smith, Heath Miller (for me), Dermontti Dawson, Hines Ward, Jerome Bettis...

DeCastro was the best d@m offensive lineman p/u we could have got in that draft. I think, hope, that we'll be talking about him for years to come. He has the work ethic and disposition of the late great "Iron" Mike Webster, IMO.

Once the Steelers called him to tell him he was their #1 pick, he hung up the phone and started packing for Pitt. He was in Pitt while Tomlin and staff were still in NY ready to begin his career. This kid is all business.

Now see, that's the way Batch needs to talk. I can't wait to see what this kid will bring us. With his speed and elusiveness, as well as his exceptional receiving skills, I hope Haley has some packages in mind for him. Plus i've heard defensive players comment in the past about Sproles lack of height having a big affect on their ability to see where he's at all the time, and Rainey is small like Sproles. :yeehaw:

I am predicting he will be the next Allan Faneca and not because he wears 66 :)
