Myron Rolle Article in the PG

Dunno if this kid hasa chance at making our roster but you gotta respect his commitment to his education.

I genuinely want him to be a Steeler.

 

I remember a few stories about this kid. The dude was honored with the opportunity of Being a Rhodes Scholar in Oxford. Not sure why that was left out. A Rhodes Scholar is always great to have on your defense...!

 

Finally we are bringing in starter caliber type players

 

Inspirational young man. I hope he makes the final roster.

 

I like this guy. I pimped him out of college and hoped that the Steelers drafted him. He is a special person and a team guy, his creditability is without question. No issues with this guy, not to mention he is smart. I hope he makes the team. Hope coach Lake takes an interest in him.

 

I think he makes the roster and will be clark's replacement next year. I loved him at fsu. he has more talent than clark does now, its just a matter of getting him to commit to football. If he has we have a steal. by the way I like ryan I just am getting tired of his mouth

 

He may be a great guy, but he is lucky if he makes the team. He had a couple good games in college, but I wouldn't say he had a stellar career.

 

Cool story. This young man seems to have a lot going on. I hope he can be 100% committed to football. What happened to him with the Titans? Not that it really matters as Fisher was kind of infamous the past few years before getting fired for misusing talent and running off good players. . I hope he does well here.

 

And what exactly is wrong with Ryan Clarks talent? Are you serious?

I'm not trying to rain on everyone's parade, I agree with everything said about Rolle being a stand up dude, and I really hope he makes and contributes to this team... But to say it's about whether or not Rolle is committed os silly to me, sure maybe there was a little bit of that earlier but the Titans spent a draft pick on him, he was released a year later, and not on any roster for a year... So to say he'll be starting next season would be a HUGE jump for him.

I agree we should start thinking about Clark's replacement, but that's not a shot on Clark... He has been a great FA signing... Definitely a "glue guy"

don't forget a udfa we picked up. golden. i think he will have something to say about the safety spot before it's over with. he was a really good pickup where we got him. i think the kids going to be pretty good. i also think cromartie-smith will make some noise this year. mundy will have to earn his spot and i think will allens days are numbered.

 

I hope Allen's days are over we need younger more talented fellas at that spot

 

I never said that Clark was not talented. I think rolle is more talented. I never said I thought Clark was a bad player. I said I am tired of him commenting on every issue whether or not it has any thing to do with him or the steelers. He is a liability in coverage and is a free agent after next year I think. I just think rolle will be his replacement

 

I too hope he makes the team and can contribute. We will need his type
of services probably sooner than later. Safety position is a concern, age and
injuries have caught up to us.
