Quite a fair analysis, I think (though not sure he's heard about Redman being the second coming yet, or he may not be so down on the running game...). Basically:
    1. Someone needs to step up in the running game and make big plays.
    2. Young players in the secondary need to be ready to play.
    3. The D-line might be quite old.

Of all these, I think the 2nd is the one that's going to give us the most grief, at least early on this season.

Got to take exception to #3. We have 11 d-linemen currently on the roster. Casey is 34, Keisel is 33. The rest are 26 or under. As soon as Casey or Keisel can't get the job done, they'll be replaced by a younger version of themselves (Ta'amu and Heyword). I hate to say that, espcecially about Keisel, but thats the nature of the job.

Yeah, it seems a little silly to say that you are old at a position by picking out 2 guys. It would be like saying we were young on the Dline because of Taamu and Heyward. It isn't intellectually honest.

What I think the synopsis should have highlighted was what I would phrase....stepping up.

For this team to be successful, younger players need to STEP UP. Running backs, receivers, Offensive line, cornerbacks, Defensive line and both Linebacker positions. We have youth at all of these positions, but for this team to be successful, these young guys are going to have to step up to the plate and be the man.

Agree. Maybe a season or two ago that was true, but i think we have done a good job of getting younger on the D line.

Agreed we've made significant upgrades on the lines age wise...Talent wise is yet to be seen but I still have a big hope for Ziggy and Cam seems to look better everytime he is on tape. Can't wait to see the other youg guys come to life

I get the feeling this analyst isn't too hot on our backups. They said the same about us last year and we weren't too shabby, and by my reckoning we've got much younger since then.
