Here's some of his highlights. You can see he's got an interesting delivery (not in a good way). I wouldn't hold my breath if I were hoping to see him in a Steelers jersey.

I do not think he is same kind of athlete that Dixon is/was. Dixon was a special athlete just not a great QB

    I disagree in part....

DD is very sinilar to Vick,Newton, and Tebow...All of which need a Zone Read type of playbook and DD has never been given anything close in the NFL...The one play in our book that was similar DD took full advantage of....By my ccount he ran that play 4 times....One he throwed a strike for a 30 yar TD,1 he ran around the end for a 40 yard scoe, another he ran around the other end for a 50 yard gain or so ,and the last one he took up the middle for a 30 yard gain...

So whi,e I agrre that DD is not a pocket QB he is far from a Bum and he does have elit potntial similar to Cam if a Team would make the syetem fit the player...The bottom line is Teams just don't like to do that ,because they usually only have 1 guy with that skill set.....So it is a bi risk to deign the whole O on 1 guys style ,but if that guy can stay in the game he van cause fits for even the elite Teams,,,,similar to what Tebow did to us with the Zone Read and the Zone Read pass...

I told people that if Tebow got teh Zone Read going we would adjust and at that point the Zone Read becomes almost impossible to stop...

DD is a Waggle style type of QB....

My only question is are we looking for a career backup qb or a future replacement for Ben?

I agree 100% on what you said about Dixon. The Panthers should be looking at him as a backup to Newton. He would be a much better QB in the system that they run for Cam, than our system.
