1 Run D. This is really a combination of all three levels. D line besides Hayward has been very underwhelming. Tuitt must be hurt and Hargrave has regressed in year 2 which is disappointing. The loss of Shazier who’s freakish athleticism could cover for others mistakes is now a huge downgrade at whoever is replacing him Spence Fort Dirty Red, whoever. Saftey Play has been borderline abysmal. Davis shows flashes but is inconsistent and I would say he’s regressed in year 2 as well. Mitchell may be the worst-starting saftey in the NFL. He is slow, useless and a complete liability in both phases. Artie has also regressed in year 2 he doesn’t support the run and is often lost in space and burnt in coverage. Haden and Hilton have been very solid all around. This D is in bad shape right now. QB sacks and a timely turnover is the only hope.

Idk, there are some individual weaknesses, but as a unit they fair pretty well. Poor tackling downfield is my greatest concern.

We have a Championship Offense and just enough Defense to win said Championship.

If the Offense struggles, it's over.

Our best Defense is the Offense.

I wish this wasn't true as much as I like a bad @ss Defense. We don't have that at this point...UnSteeler like...

The saying goes, "defense wins championships". I believe that most of the time. One that really stands out in my mind is the Ravens first SB. Trent Dilfer has a ring thanks to that defense.

Only reason I have little hope for the STEELERS is because of our D. Only way I see us winning it all is if somehow the O can score 35-40 points for 3 straight games.

Defense carried us the first half of the season.

Offense carried us the second half of the season.

    Time to...

Come together, right now, over me!:guitarplayer:

IMO this team is capable of taking over games at any point in all phases if they need to.
