Miami LB Spence on the inside track for Steelers

Right when we picked him I say what the hell is that but the more I read on him and watch on him the more I think the steelers got steal here

 

I think Spence is a prime example of the new Steelers. People wanted to say it was Cowher's team early on, but Spence is a Tomlin guy. He likes quick-twitch type athletes where Cowher tended to prefer more brute strength.


Also, nobody is always right but Mike Mayock is my favorite guy to listen to about draft stuff. He really does his homework and doesn't form opinions just to refute Kiper or anything like that like McShay. The fact that Mayock loves him gets me excited.

 

I know during the draft when he was saying it was one of his fav. guys to watch on tape.. blew my mind this little pocket size LB and everyone talks grand about him... the future is looking brighter and brighter after this draft pummmmped for the season

To be honest I seen limited tape on him and I was at work when the pick came in across my phone from a guy at my local steelers club so went on a youtube spree and I have to admit i was not only impressed but shocked at how his size never really played a big factor in any snaps i seen...granted most were highlights but i did watch 2 qrtrs of a game and he had 8 solo tackles in 1 half i say great STEAL

 

I knew he was going to be great from the start. Never a doubt. haha
