I can’t believe how much gold we struck with this kid. I don’t think anyone remotely envisioned him blowing up like this in his first year in the league at age 20. Between him and AB we are in good hands at the receiver position for a long time to come. Hopefully we get a good quarterback in here once Ben decides to hang them up. Can’t waste the prime years and skills of these guys. And yes – I’m in the minority that says we should sign Martavis Bryant in the off-season. Happy New Year!

If Landry would of had a center that could snap the ball, JuJu’s stats today would be even bigger. Nonetheless, with Landry, he still put up a monster game

I think my favorite quote yesterday belonged to Villanueva.

He said, "I wish everyone had a JuJu in their life."

Thankfully for us, as fans, we do!

Maybe Haley calls more under the center plays instead of that blooper reel that happened over and over. Hubbard is NOT a center. Hopefully Finney's injury is not serious.

Never realized how important a center is until yesterday's game. NFL Network was just talking about JuJu and said he'll have playoff nerves.

Well, it's definitely scientifically proven that JuJu will have playoff nerves. I mean, he's shown nerves throughout the year. lol

I will say during the draft I was very vocal about the Juju pick as were many others in the draft thread. A lot of us wanted a S and when Jones went right in front of us I was pissed. This past draft was loaded with WR's and looking at it now I see why the Steelers picked him. Man oh man they know their stuff in the WR department. Juju has stepped up and have been a joy to watch, and now with the season he has had tell me who has a better 1-2-3 in the league that AB - Juju - MB??????

I have turned my back on the NFL, greatly reduced watching and have vowed to never buy NFL product again. Ju-Ju may change all that...great talent, greater kid!

JuJu has been incredible. He even made LoLandry look decent :lolol:...actually Landry did very well all things considered.

He never played Center before that game. Considering that this is the, I think, 4th position he's played this year alone he deserves a bit of slack for a few mistakes and a lot of credit for being a great asset to the team.

The bad boys always get more attention. The media eats it up when a player gets arrested or into some altercation. Heck, they blow it up when a player is just accused of something. But the truth is, the NFL is also filled with a lot of good guys. Guys that use their celebrity status to raise money for charity, who go out into their communities and act as a positive role model. The media isn't interested in reporting on a player attending church, or living a clean life. I too, want to get a JuJu jersey. I love his energy.

He’s too young to have playoff nerves—more like a youthfully exuberant “Is that John Candy?” kind of player.

I am convinced that AB makes all of the WRs around him better by just being AB. It’s widely reported that he suffers from OCD and his attention to detail is magnified. I think that rubs off on someone like JuJu.

If JuJu were a Raven (for example) would he have had the same impact? I don’t think so. But an entire offseason of watching AB work has to rub off. Not trying to minimize JuJu and his skill set, but I think him being young and willing to learn from the game’s best helped. It’s the AB effect

When I watch him play I see a rare type of WR . He is built more like a RB and is very hard to jam at the los and very hard to get on the ground after the catch . He also runs good routes and has enough top end speed to run away from guys.

A very rare find indeed .

He has quickly become my favourite Steeler. He is just so easy to like, both on and off the field. I hope he has a long and successful career with us.

Bryant is signed for 2018, he's still playing under his rookie contract because of his one year suspension.

I'm surprised he's not getting more consideration for ROY. Obviously Hunt deserves it but JuJu is clearly the #1 rookie WR this year. Among all rookies ranks #1 receiving yards, 4th in TD's. only started 7 games and played in 14 games.

Here's a list I found of the 10 best rookie seasons for a WR. JuJu's rookie season is among the best ever. If he started in every game he's probably ranking #3 on that list behind Moss and Boldin. Little strange that Terry Glenn is left off this list though.

JUJU = new Hines Ward.... s/o to our Legend #86 Hines Ward:yeehaw:

Tough, physical, high motor, high morale, team player, good in the slot, can start from an outside position, willing to take the hits, playmaker ability.

    What a blessing

Hard to believe this guy was 20 for a lot of the season and just turned 21.

I think many of us in the draft last spring. Went really? Another WR in the 2nd round?

I think we all like the pick now, and it was only his rookie year.

That is also LOLandry. He knew he had a third string center. He should have been watching the ball. If the ball ain't getting back there, reading the D is a waste of time

Hard to believe his numbers are that good. Could just be my perception but sometimes I get mad at Ben because i dont think he looks for him enough and he still has those great numbers.
