I'm sure we're all amused by the Raven's loss, but....

If I were a betting man my money would be on AB being on the field. AB is a gamer and he is working his tail off to get healthy. It will be like 4 weeks since he was hurt so I am hoping he is a quick healer.

Ben, is a different qb now than then. He had the worst game of his career. Brown will be back. And now, that this defense has the team sack record, maybe they can get back to playing sound football. Like the beginning of the season. Alot of the rookies and free agents have really stepped up for us.

I'm glad the Rats are out of the playoffs. When the Steelers and Ravens play each other it's very brutal and neither team comes out of that game not being beat down quite a bit. The game is usually decided by 3 or less points and stresses me out too much. I think the Steelers chances of getting to the Superbowl greatly improved yesterday thanks to the Bengals eliminating Baltimore.

Anything, ANYTHING, that hurts the Ravens and their murderer-worshipping fan base should be a cause for celebration. This is a late Christmas present to all decent people.

It was a good Sunday of football, Steelers won, Ravens lost and I won 1,000.00 by the Browns losing by less than 11 points.

Jags do offer a match up problem for sure. Big running backs carve us up. Bortles won’t beat us. If they win Fournette will need to have 150 yds and a couple TDs. With that said I think you can game plan to prevent that. This is where having a week off is an advantage. Pour over the film.

Also 2 pick sixes is an anomaly. So are 5 ints. By rights, they should be concerned that with all of that they only scored 30. The talking heads won’t mention that.

Was not only the Ravens which we beat twice. We swept the entire AFC North which I understand has not been done since 2008

Something else to chew on, (as per from NFL.com)

Blake Bortles threw five interceptions in the final two weeks of the season, both losses for the Jaguars. One more poor outing in the playoffs could have the Jaguars looking more aggressively for a quarterback in the offseason.

Antonio Brown's recovery from his calf injury will be a huge story in the next two weeks. If he's able to recover fully, the injury might have strangely helped the Steelers. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Martavis Bryant stepped up huge in No. 84's absence, so the young receivers should enter the playoffs with a ton of confidence.

I think he has progressed a great deal from that video of him climbing stairs to him speed walking in his driveway. He is working hard to get back. I think you see him as well in the Jags game.

Yeah still amazed at how bad our gameplan was vs Jax.

At the time Jax had #1 pass defense, #30 run defense...

Thank you, I could not agree with you more. How on earth would you be upset that your hated division rival who's coach has your weaknesses tattooed on the back of his eyelids are missing the playoffs? No matter how bad the team is they always play us hard, the games are always down to the wire, and they take a pound of flesh with them win or lose. Not to mention it would be very unlikely we win 3 in a row since we swept the regular season since neither team really has long winning streaks against one another. I'm glad as anything they are out of the playoffs.

Last thing I want to do is have to play that physically and emotionally draining game then have to go the next week into Gillette.

Leonard Fournette hasn't been the same since coming back from the game he missed due to injury. In fact he hasn't been effective in the second half of the season.

Bortles has returned to form as well, throwing 5 picks in his last two games.

Can't see the Bills beating them though, at least not with McCoy out or not 100%.

Also can't see the Jaguars coming to Pittsburgh and winning. Fournette won't run for 181 yards, and Bortles will throw more than 14 times, completing some to guys in a black jersey.

It was great to see the Ravens lose in epic fashion. But I also think it would have been better for the Steelers if the Ravens had pulled it out.

The Jags looked like s**t to finish out the year. The Bills are actually on a bit of a high right now. I think the Bills go down to Jax and beat the Jags next week. That gives us a tough matchup with the Chiefs and the Patriots get a cakewalk.

LOVED the ravens loss. Quite hilarious. Only team other than the pats that can beat us in the post season is the chiefs. Experience and QB play matters, and believe it or not but Alex Smith is the only halfway decent QB to make the playoffs outside of Ben and Brady in the AFC (Mariota is getting close to being pretty good).

Regular season doesn’t mean crap now. It’s all about who is hot and whose QB is playing the best. I want the jags so badly in the divisional round. Idk how you can even make the case that the chiefs wouldn’t give us more of a problem. Hill, Hunt, and Kelce? Competent QB? Finally playing good ball again. Look out. Let’s send them to Foxboro.

I dont think there is any chance Bills beat Jax, not without Shady. Hope you are right though, Steelers seem to have the Chiefs number lately.

I was good with your first part, but the Bills beating the Jags without McCoy, at their home, is not going to happen, and the Chiefs are not going to loose to the Titans in their home.

We will be playing the Jags, count on it.

This is dumb. Matchups matter. Also, we should want the potential divisional-round opponent to have the toughest opponent possible in the wild card round. I want the Jaguars to face a physical battle that pushes them to the limit on the way to Pittsburgh.

Super Bowl trophies don't come with asterisks. I don't care who the Steelers have to go through to win it. I care that they win it. That means wanting them to face the most advantageous road possible. The rest is just chest-thumping foolishness.
