He’s won 115+ games in 11 years. If the losses are on him, so are the wins.

Look, I bleed black and gold, but this statement is simply untrue. The Steelers are a long way from the biggest franchise in sports. Real Madrid? Manchester United? Etc.

Avg...thats the point and how many were with Cowhers team that he simply went for a ride with. Those players were like the cowboys after Jimmy left. Leaders with experience. So, they won the sb inspite of a dumb coach.

The team became a Tomlin coached team when he took over for Cowher. Some of you wouldn't know a good coach regardless of what the coach helps the team accomplish or what anyone says. It appears you will always believe that Tomlin is a dumb average coach. SMH

Google HC playoff wins and tell me how many average coaches have 8 or more wins. Then, eliminate all of those without a championship and tell me how his playoff record is average

How many times did Cowher take that caliber team to the SuperBowl? how long did it take him to build that caliber team? The same team that went 8-8 one year removed and was a 10-6 wildcard team the Super Bowl caliber year... Tomlin coached that caliber team to the superbowl 2 and 4 seasons later of taking over.. my point is, your point is invalid

I would say Tomlin has had his best year as a coach and if Ben had played as good early in the season as he is now this team would be 14-1 counting the game the refs stole from us otherwise we would be 15-0, and Ben said he wants to get a ring for his Oline so the desire is there for a superbowl win........

Tomlin has kept them focused on that goal so he gets credit for that from me. He's had one of his better years imo.

As for the desire part, I am kind of reminded of the time down in Miami when they got stuck in that hotel because of the hurricane and all the players sat with each other in the hallway. Couple of the players said that was a galvanizing moment on their way to that Super Bowl. I get that kind of vibe from the NE loss, especially after they took care of business with Houston (no hangover). Add in the confidence from the 3 tight games won at the buzzer and the team's mindset is peaking at the end here.

O'Donnell was middle of the pack... not elite, but not subpar. Kinda like Cousins and Smith today.

I think it' more likely that Harrison is finished than him pulling off big playoff performances. We shall see.

Doesn't matter how finishes he is...you don't just dump him out there and not care about the consequences.. ..that is not A smart move.

And to add insult to injury 1st thing JH does after signing ,he sents out a selfie with brady...You gotta be kidding me Tomlin.

115-60 as HC in regular season.
    8-6 in the playoffs.

Has never had a losing season in 11 years.

Saying he is a bad coach just doesn't make any sense.

I don't disagree, but I think this was a mutual release. I think it was more poisonous to Harrison's legacy in Pittsburgh to keep him and not use him. I'm' sure Harrison welcomed this release.

It wasn’t that he was useless, he was openly challenging the coach through psycho instagram posts and comments to teammates. That $hit just does not fly with this team. Take that to Dallas or Tampa, not here. He posted an Instagram post last week of him shirtless throwing dumbbells screaming “they put this on the bench?” There is no reason for that to occur. He can say he wasn’t playing enough, but, he didn’t say that when the whole team was in pads last July and he was in sweats taking it easy.

I liked Mike Tomlin until that incident in Baltimore where he interfered with that KO return. I just thought that was bush league, and a black eye on the organization. I don't care what his logic, excuse or whatever was. If you believe him that is fine. I believe what I believe. From that point on I soured on him.

I'm mostly critical of his use of time outs and challenges. The challenges haven't been an issue this year. He's either fired whomever was telling him to challenge or he personally has gotten better. The time outs remain an issue. Under 2 minutes he follows a big gain with a time out... without question. It's his philosophy I guess.

All in all 2017 has been a good year for Tomlin. 12-3 can not be argued with. He has the player talent to achieve that record, but he played a part in assembling that talent and keeping it moving forward. Kudos to him.

Some of the QB's under Cowher had good seasons or good enough seasons. QB's don't need to have great careers to help teams have success.

Some fans seem to have a difficult time understanding that the worst offense or defense in the league can perform like the best offense or defense in the league any given week.

Apparently you haven’t gotten the memo. The wins are on the players. The losses are on Tomlin holding the players back. Did I get that right Tomlin-haters?

In all honesty, I'll put the blame for this Harrison blunder on Tomlin, Colbert and Art Rooney. I don't care if Harrison was unhappy, it isn't the Steelers job to make him happy.
