The NFL may not be rigged. However, I believe there were times that the refs made untimely bad calls that influenced the outcome of games and point spreads.

I believe we have a real life conspiracy taking place with Kaepernick. I believe the NFL owners colluded to keep him out of the league. The same way the owners colluded against Ray Rice. The same kind of understanding could be reached with the certain refs in secret. Anything is possible when there's a lot of money involved.

Are the owners running a business? As business owners don't they have the right to refuse employment to anyone they feel might hurt their business?

I guess you missed my point?

Any one who follows sports knows that shady stuff happened at times. It was proven that refs in the NBA influenced the out come of games/point spreads and it more than likely happens in the NFL.

it was proven a(as in one) ref was betting on games and funneled information to bookies. Got proof of refs doing it the the nfl? You still haven't answered either of the two previous questions.

Absolutely!!! However a small financed group of fist shaking folk are slowly challenging an employers right to hire whom they want... Bunch of BS, if the dude was a good QB and not a flash in the pan he'd have a job.

Speaking of conspiracies. Notice we're over 50 posts in and not one of these guys has answered my question?

I don't know all the legal specifics but there is this thingy called the collective bargaining agreement between the players and the NFL. That agreement suggests the owners can't simply run the NFL business 100% the way they see fit.

I watch the "proof" every Sunday.

    So basically you've got nothing.

Riddle me this. Why do you watch the NFL? You believe it's rigged or the refs are throwing games so it's not a sport. A sport requires it being a competition and since it's rigged/refs are throwing games it's not a competition. It has a predetermined outcome. Why watch? It's simple question.

Why do people support this team or sports in general? The same reason why people watch soap operas, the WWE, ect. It's entertainment. People also hope the sport is clean. Well football will never be 100% clean. There will always be controversies.

I'm calling it now. If the Steelers beat the pats in the playoffs these whack jobs will claim it's the NFL trying to save face.

I didn't say it's rigged. Rigged would mean the out come of the games are predetermined. I said that refs can and do influence games or point spreads. Why do I watch? It's entertainment that I enjoy.

Soap operas, wwe etc are fake. They are works of fiction. When did controversy become proof of anything being rigged/fixed or if you prefer not 100% clean? I think we are up to 4 simple questions that as it stands you've refused to answer.

I'm not part of the conspiracist group... A whole new conspiracy hardly. A group of paid folks to stomp town to town and whine foul? Hell boys that's good O'l fashion commerce these days.

Hey Pete I admire your efforts in describing your theory (of which Ido not subscribe) but how did Deflategate go the Patriots way:shrug:

I don't know if this picture helps your argument or hurts it, strummer. Is this your indisputable evidence the ball touched the ground?

If so then where are his other two fingers? Isn't it possible they are between the ground and the ball?

I think it's possible his fingers were under the ball and he stabilized it with his left forearm (look at Boomer's new avatar picture). If there's a possibility that's true and your picture may show that possibility exists, then it's not indisputable.

If it's not indisputable, the call on the field is supposed to stand.

I don't think it's a conspiracy and I don't think it would have to be.

It could be just one guy and he may not even have evil motives or gambling ties.

Could simply be that Albert Riveron is a huge Patriots fan (or his son, daughter, wife is) so he awarded three games to the patriots on the same type of close controversial replay decision this season.

In this example, there's no conspiracy, no organized crime, just a bias towards the Pats.

For the record I'm not saying this is what's happening just that a bias can exist with no conspiracy.
