Another site has some examples, I'm not sure if that rule was in play for the first example.... but the other two certainly are good comparisons.

Hey, I'm a Bear fan that joined the board simply to express my sympathies--you guys got completely jobbed. When I saw that play, it reminded me of the Golden Tate interception turned TD against the Bears for the Lions.

And in this play, it was originally ruled a pick and then overturned to become a TD. This Patriot favoritism HAS to stop.

    Condolences.

Can anybody please tell me why it seems that only Steelers fans are questioning indisputable evidence. It’s like they seem to think we don’t know what a catch is.

If that ball hit the ground, it is in fact incomplete. Any football fan knows that. I just want an explanation of how this was indisputable because clearly it was not. For there to be such a divide in it being a catch or no catch makes it disputable.

The officials broke the rules and should apologize instead of saving face by telling us something we already know.

I kind of agree with this (I think that James made a football move so it shouldn't matter). But even so, I still don't see how they can say that that ball conclusively hit the ground. Yeah, there's no doubt it moved, but that doesn't matter if it doesn't hit the ground. To me, it looks like James' hand could very well have been UNDER the ball.

Here's yet another link showing Pat favoritism. This time against my Bears as Gronk gets awarded a TD on a play far iffier than that James play. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/20141...ameinfo|contentId:0ap3000000417502&tab=videos

Umm, that's not what I asked. I'm talking about no major sporting websites have even hinted at the indisputable evidence rule. They all just say, "A rule is a rule." They have completely ignored indisputable and I want an answer. I know what a catch is.

fact is based on the insane rules if you are a receiver and catch a ball and run in for a TD and spike the ball it will get overturned. You almost need to carry the ball with you until the next game, unless you are on the Pats.

Exactly. Even when he rolls forward there is absolutely no way to say he hasn't regained control. Every body is so scared of a little tiny fine. All somebody with a voice has to do is ask for a reference to the indisputable evidence rule.

Also, where is the video from the back of the end zone? There is no possible way this can be the only angle.

It's because the Patriots have more money to bribe the refs to make critical calls go their way. NFL is scripted just like the WWE...

In a league run by scumbag lawyers it's not suprising they talk like scumbag lawyers.

And if any of you are lawyers and offended, I do apologize for the use of the word scumbag. No need to correct me, I know it's redundant

I work with fans of many teams, including the Pats. It’s been the subject of “water cooler” discussion the past few days, and I have yet to hear a single person say it wasn’t a catch. Even the Pats fan said we got screwed and they got lucky.

Because they want to maintain access to the NFL. If they tell the truth, the NFL will cut off access.
