AB

The idea that the Steelers don't need Brown against any opponent is ridiculous. The Bengals and Ravens are both playing better than they were when Pittsburgh faced them the first time around. Both are fighting for their playoff lives. Neither of those games is going to be easy and even one loss could leave Pittsburgh playing in the Wild Card round if the Steelers lose to the Patriots on the 17th.

Of course, if he's hurt, you sit him. You don't risk making an injury to Brown worse. But to say they don't need him this week shows a lack of understanding of this team.

 

I'd almost wonder if his toe has a name, and it's Vontaze Burfict. The Bengals will try to ruin our season by hurting us. AB shouldn't play against the Bengals.

The Ravens will try to ruin our season by winning the game. If they injure us along the way, it's a bonus.

 

Yeah, AB is the one constant in this offense. He's the offensive MVP easily, IMO.

He also posted some videos of him working out a few minutes ago. I think he is going to play. He has 48 more hours to really feel better.

 

We barely beat the Packers with him. We lost to the Bears with him. Yeah, I'd say we need him to beat our division rivals.

 

Well you all should know by now, the closer we get to playoffs the drama intensifies, that is one ugly toe though and could be the first stages of the dreaded turf toe....

 

Dale Lolley tweeted this morning that he would be shocked if AB didn’t play.

 

If brown is hobbled or at least slowed then we need everyone else to step up big time. I thought there were enough drops last game that Ben could have gone 42 out of 45. Is JU JU ready again.
Bryant, Rogers, Bell and JU JU is still pretty good targets that any team would be happy with.

I just hope Marty can build on last game and Juju continues to kill it. If Ben continues to throw well, we’re in great shape.

 

We need the win, and AB needs to play. EVEN IF he is not 100 percent.

It’s a seventeen-week tactical campaign. The focus is on winning the war.

 

Let AB rest. If we are really as good as we think we are, we should win without him Monday. Anyway we can afford to lose another game & still get the #1 seed, as long as we beat New England December 17...

Pretty interesting take on this, we can beat the Bungals without AB but sure as **** we can't win vs the Cheats without him. With that said I think he plays and if this game gets out of hand we won't see him much. Also just having him stand on the field changes the Bungals game plan, even if we don't throw to him......I am good either way. I love watching AB play but let's face it this is all about the "bigger" picture!!!

 

Burfict will stomp all over that toe tonight if he plays.

Then he'll turn around and say his foot slipped and didn't mean to do it.
