I know the AFC isn't attractive, but who seriously thought the Jets with Mark Sanchez would go beat the Pats in the divisional round in 2010.
That kept the Steelers from going to Foxboro that year.

Heck we may lose in the divisional round. Nothing is guaranteed.

You bring up a good point. It wouldn't shock me if the Jags beat the Steelers. Lord knows, they've had our number for awhile. Even KC somehow beating NE isn't out of the question.

Furthermore, Tomlin shouldn't be talking about " sparks" for a game that's three weeks away. Not when Cincinnati and Baltimore are more than capable of beating us.

Anything can happen really. Look at last year, we got killed by the Dolphins only to kill them in the WC round. We destroyed KC at home last year, only to beat them at their place again in a tight defensive game.

You just never know whats going to happen.

Look at 2004 Steelers went 15-1, and nearly lost to the Jets in the divisional round. Ended up losing to the Pats of course. But, they nearly lost to the Jets, if it wasn't for Jeff Reed coming through. They went 15-1 and were nearly one and done that year.

Like the Chiefs in '95 with the #1 seed. They went 13-3 and were beaten by the Colts 10-7.

Previous to that you had it carved in stone that we would lose to the Titans.

Look what has happened in the previous 5 seasons. 2017 has been an anomaly to say the least. Those are games the Steelers lost in years past... now they are winning ugly. Ugly wins with performances that won't cut it vs. the Patriots.

Wow...I’m surprised you haven’t been thrown in the pit of misery for this post. I said on another thread they lose one or maybe two games by end of season and some dude had a minor hissy fit with that post. I don’t see a three game losing streak, but I do agree that the inconsistent play will bite us at some point. Division games are always a blood bath. One game at a time.

I did mean Steelers can beat the Cheats without Haden, this D can bring pressure inside or outside. I don't care how good the Cheats OT's are if we play the same D we played all year and not go to that STUPID ZONE **** we will get to Marsha!!!! This team is maybe......maybe the best team we have ever had to match up with the Cheats.

I like Tuitt and Hayward when they are both on the field. VW, Shazier and Watt are all having good years and Dupree is getting pressure just needs to wrap better. Health and coaching will be what beats us not the Cheats!!!!

I don't know man....my hatred runs way deeper than it probably should for athletes playing a game. My hatred is with everything Boston....Red Sox and Celtics too. The only exception I will make is a Boston Cream donut.....I love them.

I'm not worried about the Patriots.

My fear is we overlook any team that comes in before the Pats. Could be any team that gets hot in the last couple weeks.

Also the NFC is very strong this year. Any SB opponent will be a real challenge.

People here go over to the Bengals, Ravens, Browns message boards and laugh at how their fans react to playin the Steelers. "This is their Super Bowl" "They're so pathetic " "They fear us"

We have a small group of people here that are running around to every thread doing the same thing with the Patriots. A couple of them I'm convinced are finding humor in trolling fellow Steelers fans.
At least the Bengals, Ravens and Browns fans mostly wait till the week of the game to start their talk.

So yeah, no more Patriots threads.
