This may sound odd but do we hope for a loss before the playoffs just to get it out of the way?
Lets say they win out with miraculously beating the Patriots, that would be 11 straight wins and gives incentive to the other team to try and knock them off even more.

This may sound stupid, just a thought. Of course you want to win every game, but will it be a blessing or a curse if they win out?

To me all the remaining games are winnable besides the Patriots which of course is possible to win, they just better have a drastically different game plan than the AFCCG last year.

To sum it up, if they win out, will there be enough left for the playoffs.

Steelers will lose to the Bengals or Ravens. One of those games will be a loss. Write it down. Carve it in stone.

Not to poke the bear or screw up the reverse juju you got going but you also said we should carve it in stone that they'd lose to the Titans. Btw the Steelers don't lose on Monday nights

Pats started 2-2 last yr and never lost again. ..if steelers lose the #1 seed ,you can just go ahead and put the pats In sb....

If brady does not get hurt, just go ahead and give them their 6th trophy ..

The difference between pats and Steelers is that pats don't lose to crappy teams late in the season ...

I wouldn't call the Ravens or the Bengals crappy teams. Ravens have a better defense than the Steelers and the Bengals offense is capable of putting up 30+ points on anybody.

    TRUE;
    Pittsburgh Steelers — 42 Wins
In addition to their 16 straight home wins, the Steelers have notched 27 total Monday Night Football victories since 1991, and all told they’ve got 42 wins on the first day of the work week to their credit.

And of course they are 7-0 on sunday night and after they beat the bungholes they will be playing for the division title against the rats for a huge incentive to win........

Every yr steelers are better than both of those teams, yet they never dominate

The games that you expect the pats to win, they win, I can't say that about pitt....

    Double quote again, my bad.

I hate to say it.. but I'd take the Ravens D against the Patriots/Brady any day of the week over the Steelers D. They can do what needs to be done to limit and contain Brady.

If they could do that brady would not have had 5 titles by now. ....idk what's going on in ne, are they really good or the cheating regime still ruling and things are being swept under the rug for a large check. ..kraft has no problem opening up his wallet to shut people up...

Screw that win out.........if we win out that means we beat the Cheat and the Cheat would have to come here. Also winning out would put to rest the "playing down" talk and start putting the fear of "the Steelers are for real" in all the other playoff bound teams, AFC OR NFC!

The way Ben has improved the last 3-4 weeks I like this teams chances and if the D keeps putting pressure on the other QB's I am pretty sure winning out is not that far out of reach. Yeah I am feeling optimistic but this team's recent play has me believing........

The Titans are a good team. Naturally, the Steelers beat good teams except for the Patriots.

You do realize the Bengals have the 32nd ranked offense and scores only 18 pts a game? Also explain how the Ravens have a better defense than the Steelers when they average the same pts, the Steelers are higher ranked and the Steelers went up and down the field for over 400 yds when they kicked Balt ass earlier this year

Ravens D shut out the Packers. Steelers D made Hundley look like Favre and Rodgers. Enough said.

And the Steelers offense had absolutely no problem moving the ball against ravens, and got ran over by the Vikings and Titans enough said.

They are both crappy teams. I think Cincy is the slightly better team of the two. The ravens haven't beaten a team with a winning record and the Bengals have only beaten the Bills. Both have been soundly beaten by the good teams they've played

I doubt we lose a division game this year. We know the Bungles and Ratbirds all too well and there is too much separation in talent this year. It just feels different this year.
