Favorite Pgh Dad?

This dude does crack me up.

 

I got turned on to him a few months back. He does have some funny stuff.

 

"I'm gonna tell ya right now, Deb, that offense better get to the lab and figure things out...the lab, Deb. You go in there, you mix some potions and chemicals. There's lighning in the back and proof, 30 points next week."

"What's the Browns' new guy's name? Kizer? Kizer's not a quarterback, Kizer's a roll. I put my chipped ham barbeque on that. What's the center's name? Hot dog bun?"

"The Browns are like the video music awards. I don't know who the hell anyone's name is or what the hell they do."

I can't give you a favorite. Every week he comes up with out of the blue one liners that just kill. Hysterical.

 

Am I the only one who thinks this guy isn't funny? I mean, he was a little funny and I did get a few chuckles the first two or three times that I saw his videos, but that burned out quickly and now I just don't see the humor. Good for him though, as popular as he is, I hope he's getting paid well.

 

I was kind of the opposite: I refused to watch him because I thought, "Yea, yea, some dude doing an exaggerated Pgh accent, whatever." But after finally watching a few minutes, I got why he is so popular. He is more than just a guy with big glasses with the Pgh accent; he is actually hilarious. One line after the other is creative and LOL. This is one of my favorites.

 

He has his moments...

Classic. How is he not funny?

 

"That Viking logo swims in jean shorts." LOL

 

I think he hits a little too close to home for some people.
"Here comes the blowout"
"Even though we won, how comes it feels like we lost?"

 

It think his stuff is great. I feel like a few of the things he had to be listening to me cuss at the tv.

 

I think this is the best on yet! I love the cut away to outside the house when he screams and Renegade starts.

To be honest, he says everything that either my buddies and I said during the game or what is said on this board. Wouldn’t surprise me if Curt isn’t a member here.

 

That's why it's so good: He says what most of us are thinking. Some brilliant writing. And they invented this persona from his actual dad, who did say things like this and does have huge glasses. My recent favorite, for the MN game (but I just watched it) is when he was ripping on the Vikings' logo and said, "The Vikings' logo wears jean shorts to swim."

 

If you have been watching "Stranger Things" you will find this funny.

 

The very end is hilarious. Count "Flaccu-la."

 

To be honest at first I couldn't stand him but he grew on me and now I subscribe to his YouTube channel.
