Watching Penn State destroy Mich. Barkley is just out of this world. When he turns on the speed just watch him work. Not sure they can go toe to toe with Alabama but it would be fun to watch.

I am not sure they match up too well with Bama? Just my opinion. I believe
you need a dual threat qb. A dual threat is fine at the college level, it doesn't pan out in the
Pro's. They will take your head off eventually. I am/WAS (see past threads) big supporter of
D Watson. He will not last long in the pro's if he continues to run alot. Sorry to high jack your thread Thorn, Barkley is the real deal.

I'm positive they don't match up against Bama but it would be awesome if they could jump out early and then play their game.

Just a ton of good RBs this year with Barkley at the top. A lot should be coming out in the 2018 draft which will help us if Bell cannot be signed.

Watched Kobe McCrary from Minnesota yesterday just relocating humanity on Illinois' d-line to the tune of 153yds. I've always liked their other RB Smith too.

Royce Freeman from Oregon still seems like my top option so far (of guys we have a chance of getting if needed).

I'm not sure anyone matches up with 'Bama. Even a few NFL teams. But there's always right place, right time.

Penn State's immediate concern is Ohio State. They are not a team to take lightly, and match up very well against PSU on paper. Way too soon to be talking Bama.

Get in the final 4 first.

And yes. Saquon is a rare specimen.

It's nice to see PSU in the hunt again.

I am not a PSU supporter but I do agree with you, the Buckeyes will be tough to beat in Columbus. this could be
    a magical season for PSU.

Their QB Trace McSorley is playing lights out as well, he has 21 TDs so far 7 rushing with 254 rushing yards and only 5 picks, he looks better every week and OSU is not to big for him, PSU will beat OSU....

I just watched an Offensive coordinator do jack crap for a full half!

What the hell kind of plays was he running in the fourth quarter?! Looked like he was just telling Barkley try to beat the guy we're not going to block at the hand-off!

No pressure on the Ohio State QB at all. The announcers were talking about him being under pressure, but he had plenty of time to make simple reads and uncontested throws on most of his completions in the 4th.

I saw a PSU offensive line get ate up by OSU defensive line. PSU not ready for prime time yet.

The left tackle did get hurt and that's when OSU started really putting the pressure on.

I don't know why they kept doing that same QB/RB mesh play when the rush was getting there so quick.

You figure if you're getting mauled that bad, you stick a FB in there or try running out of the I-formation. That Shotgun run just wasn't cutting it!

Watching Penn State against OSU in the second half reminded me of how the Steelers have played at times when there in their timid play not to lose mode. Stupid and predictable play calling, letting OSU dominate them. Itwas painful to watch.

I only missed by 1 point, not like they got blown out, would have been a different story if they had played in death valley, no doubt.......

Yup, no changes. Particularly that last series.

OSU knew exactly what plays they were going to run and fired off right to the QB/RB mesh point. That's all they had to do and got the ball back with plenty of time. one or 2 first downs and it's game over!

Boy you got that right. PSU seems to have problems with the Spartans.
