ESPN Rankings

i can not understand the obsession with with the patriots and cowboys. I get that they won the championship, but they have struggled all year long. They got a huge assist from the zebras in NY and it seems like the coach of Atlanta is a fan. It’s a slap in the face to rank them above the Eagles, I’m not a fan but they are doing their thing. And the Cowboys have beaten the Giants, Cardinals and 49ers and you rank them f$&@ing 5th? At 3-3? And the Rams at 5-2 are below them? And we should be ranked above the Chiefs, unless I’m remembering wrong, we beat them in corn country and we are both 5-2.

 

Thank goodness the NFL rankings are more accurate.

 

Rankings mean very little to me in hindsight.


Realisitcally, those "rankings" have way too many other varibles in addition to performances as opposed to complete analytics.



A popularity contest essentially based on what ESPN is doing.

 

Being that we haven't really played a complete game the rankings are probably pretty accurate. With that being said I couldn't care less if they ranked us 32nd.

 

Lets see how week 17 rankings play out?

 

I'm more interested in the week 21 ranking. Anything less than the #1 spot and I will be sorely disappointed.

 

The ranking system I use is the one at the end of the season where one team is is in first place. Every other team is not.

 

Rankings mean squat. Cowboys are popular hence the ranking. They will finish 11-5/10-6 like us
