The defense! For the love of God how can you leave off the defense?

Boswell. 5 for 5 on FG's. Shouldn't have come down to that but he was huge today.

    Defense my writing friend. :smiley1:

Holding Cincy to 200 is one thing.

Limiting A.J. Green to just three catches is another. Artie Burns had a huge bounce back game. No situational gaffes this game.

Honorable mention for me? Chris Hubbard. He had a great game against Micheal Johnson. Did not even allow Ben to be touched and was rock solid in the rushing attack.

tough one to judge, team effort by players and coaches (except Haley lol).

Bell came to play though...co-shared with entire defense

I gotta give it to Ben, he made throws when he needed to, didn't make costly mistakes and his numbers would have been out of this world had the guys not dropped a couple. From I don't have anymore to slinging it in tight windows he looked good.

I voted for Haden, simply because the Bengals wideouts seemed to vanish by the second half. He knows what he's doing out there.

Voted Ben, he was into the game unlike a lot of the other games.
This team is getting better by the week.

I voted Bell for the 2nd week, I wish the option was Bell/Oline cause it was both. I loved the Golden play but we had the game by then and it just sealed it. Nice play and with all the Hate of Golden it was good to see something good from him. Ben is getting better, a lot better! That throw to AB was spot on, still not hitting guys in stride but he is getting there. Glad to see Ben coming around, we need the good Ben.

As for the D well Shazier was great yet again and Watt is out of this world. Dupree could have easily been the goat for not wrapping but made up for it later on. The D is starting to jell and if Tuitt can stay healthy watch the F out!!!!!

If I could give it to 2 ... Bell and the defense.

Ben was solid. The WR's were Ok. but once again we were kicking FG's instead of TD's. The last 2 weeks should have been colossal blow outs. If we don't get 2 turnovers what's the score of this game? If that fake punt fails , it's Bengals ball down by 12 on our 40. If that turns into 8 points for the Bengals it's a 3 point game. Point is that game was close up until we added 3 points to go up by 15. The defense won it in the 2nd half. Bell was just as important. Ben didn't hurt us but couldn't get it in the endzone. Frankly I think the play calling in the redzone is garbage. How many times did we line up 3rd and 1 with OUT Nix lined up at FB? All game we are running at will with a FB... 3rd and 1 and we go single back set and get stuffed more then once. (just an example). What happened to the back shoulder passes on the sideline? We can't use Bell as a WR in the red zone? It was nice to finally see a TE catch a meaningful pass. Bryant failed to show up again and showed no ability to separate. His ball skills are horrible. His legs seem weak. If he doesn't start producing I think we should replace him during the bye week.

I hear what your saying but 12-8 is 4 not 3 and that is a big difference cause it is a 2 td game.....

I do agree more td less fg is needed.

This week it has to go to the defense and since it was a complete team effort on defense, I did not vote for an individual.

Too many good choices but I went with Ben just because he silenced (at least for a week) those who say he is done.
