It sounds like he is about to get activated and my question is if that happens who goes? Do you risk putting Allen on the PS which with him getting a helmet the last few games I don’t see that happening. I also don’t think Sutton would make it to the PS either and if that was the plan they would just keep him on the IR. Could it be Golden as the one that leaves?

I don’t know. I just don’t see the Steelers going down to 2 TEs when they carried 4 the last 2 years.

Dropping grumble would leave us way too thin at TE. Hunter hasn't really shown much, but not sure they would be willing to go with only 5 wide receivers. I'm really not so sure you can call dhb a receiver at this point. He's basically just a body, not even a decoy with his stone hands.

    Hunter or Grimble.

Outside of those two, not sure. Brian has been good in Special Teams.

How Sutton is getting onto the field though is a bigger question.

Maybe Sensabaugh is the odd man out?

He is our best special teamed. Can’t beat his speed there.

Sensabaugh has gotten very few snaps on defense. Don't think Allen has any on defense, but has a few st snaps.

To me if it’s between the two you gotta stick with Allen. I could definitely see Sensabaugh going. Nothing like adding a big 3rd round corner to your already top pass defense.

I realize he's a good st player, but he's not worth crap as a wr.

I would much rather keep Allen, but would be shocked if they did. Just leaves the team way too thin at cb. We would have 3 rookies back there .

Trib says Sutton may sit until after the bye. Then he can practice for 14 days before he can play. So it will be a while till a decision needs to be made on the roster. A lot can happen in that time.

Yeah I know I’ve seen Allen out there a couple times throughout the season. Maybe it was just on specials though.

It will be Grimble based on division of labor and game day inactives. Yes it leaves them looking thin at TE but a spare linemen or Nix can fill the 3rd TE spot for blocking and the offensive targets have been low, at the position. Grimble can clear waivers and go to the PS and still be available.

Cut Golden, they added Jordan Dangerfield to the practice squad.
