I was able to watch the Panthers vs Patriots game in person this past week and the Panthers offered up a pretty good blueprint on how to confuse and beat the Patriots defense.

Granted New England has lots of time to fix this, but still, come December, I better see the Steelers atleast attempt the strategy.

Carolina used lots of motion and ran alot of screens. Especially backside screens. The Patriots were completely confused and had no answer all game long. The Panthers had atleast 5 plays where receiving options were wide open with nobody within 15 yards.

I hope Haley will take notice.

I think the patriots have the worst D in the league. To go from best to worst in one year is crazy, granted the season is young. Oh and don’t you worry they will find a way to stifle us lol

Gilmore is as big of a whipping boy as I've ever seen from a fan base. And that was even before Sundays debacle.

He had 3 costly penalties and was responsible for 3 coverage breakdowns.

Lot of money for such a poor performer.

Bad secondary and a bad pass rush is a bad combo.

Lets hope the current coaching staff doesn't go back to Bruce Arians' old tactic of "instead of playing against their weakness, lets surprise them by not playing against their weakness."

I'm not sure what the Pats defense will look like in December but I can guarantee it wont look like the current defense. If Bill has to trade the entire defense to the CFL to make things change he will. No way they will be playing this bad with this personnel group all season. They may not be better after the shake up but they will be different.

Unfortunatley he/steelers won't, they don't prepare for other team's weakness's/tendencies. Or how to attack these weaknesses
MISMATCHES. Until they do this we have all seen how this rodeo play's out. Even though we have more talent than the Pats.

The Steelers had their best ever opportunity to beat the Cheaters up in NE in the AFCCG last season and completely whiffed by using a horrible game plan.

I'd prefer to see the Patriots miss the playoffs every season just so we don't have ever relive another moment of Belicheck owning Tomlin in the playoffs.

Just into the second quarter, the Bucs have dumped Brady three times, and Doug Martin is carving up the Pats defense. 7-3, Bucs.

I look forward to another matchup. We will find out Dec 17. I like our Defense more this year, with Haden, and then give me a healthy Bell and Bryant back, with JuJu.

Don't count Tomlin and the Steelers out.

Yeah I know how you feel...I told my wife way earlier in the season before all the offense woes that we finally had a team and defense to hold tb12 in check. Are 2ndary can actually cover long enough for are front 7 to rush and get pressure on Brady. We all know the key to beating NE is putting tb on his back a few times and not giving him time to dissect are 2ndary. Now that we have the D to give us a chance it's are offense which was suppose to rival some of the all time best offensive units wouldn't be able to put points up against even the Pats current D let alone what it'll look like in Dec.
