True, but not the time to bench a 14 year starting QB. Maybe if he was hobbled and there was a vet on the bench.

I think this is comment to make, when you don't make the playoffs, or throw 5 INT"s in a playoff game or something.

Poor choice of words. Add it to the list of this season's, disturbances. I think we are up to about 5 or 6 of those.

Listen guys it's just frustration, he is throwing high at times and some blame can be on Ben but some of those interceptions is just how the game goes sometimes! tip balls and so on. I personally think the play calling sucks! But it's pretty crazy how people can turn on him so quick! Still too much football to be played, I'm confident they will turn it around! Its not the end of the season they still have a chance to fix the problems.

You can't fix a mentality. Ben has checked out .Cut him and move on . Don't waste anymore time.He got what he wanted which was the money he really wanted to retire last season.

Meh, this is blown way out of proportion.

Batch called it when he said all the headlines are going to go with that one piece of his post game and that will be the story....

You need to listen to the whole thing.

I agree that the play calling has been terrible this season.

Like i said in another post, Tomlin is not capable of making the necessary adjustments to make this team the beast it should be. He is just a bad coach and won’t get fired because the Rooney’s will eat crow based on their own “Rooney Rule.” We are stuck with an average to below average coach for some time and that is why we will be an average team for along time despite the talent on the field.

No the fustrating part is that they will scrap the 3 wr game plans and come up with a brilliant plan vs KC and execute it to perfection only to turn around the following week and go back to bad plans.

I am with you on this, if he were to do that I would have problems. I have said it before and will say it again I bleed red, white and blue way before I bleed black and gold.

    Man me too.
I'm afraid whoever said this would divide the team
    May have been exactly right.

All he cares about is being the yardage and reception leader, he only has 1 TD in 5 games, I'm more interested in him getting TDs and could care less about his diva stats.....

The messed up part is I almost wanted the Steelers to lose that KC playoff game because I knew the gameplan for New England would be the same bs that doesn't work.

If he wants business to continue "booming," he'd be wise to avoid divisive political actions like that.

Not throwing a fit that he didn't let him take a knee.

Unfortunately too many people look at his regular season records and ignore everything else. And yes the Browns and other teams show that you can do a lot worse but you could also do a lot better and hire somebody to get over that hump. Look at what the Denver Broncos did. They dumped John Fox and won it the very next year. The Steelers ownership plays it too safe. The whole "we've only had x football coaches in y years" should not be used and taken as a compliment if you're truly committed to winning.

I see nothing wrong with his arm or throws. Just decision making because he's got a diva who won't shut up about his stats. He's not allowed to just throw the ball to whoever is open. That's the problem.

They spent 2 weeks getting their starting RB up to speed. They are playing the best pass defense in the league and worst rushing defense and AB gets 19 targets and Bell gets 15 touches?? First play of the game was a bomb to AB. 3rd and goal from the 2 with arguably one of the best backs and they throw a fade to AB??? Two interceptions that were tipped. Two interceptions when trying to force it to AB.

You cannot tell me they weren't trying to force it to him to make him happy after his outburst last week. If they were game planning to win AB would be a decoy and maybe get 5 targets while they get Bell going and work the other side of the field.

Ben is done with this bull**** and I don't blame him. They aren't playing to win but to get AB his stats. Kind of hard to play QB when you can only throw it to 1 guy or your going to have to answer questions about it all week.

Terry Bradshaw threw 5 INT's against the Colts in 1977 and the Chargers in 1979. It happens.

Unless of course he is playing possum lol . He may want opponents to think he is done and judging by his play he does look done but I for one do not believe it .. Yet
