NE has a real concern with their defense. They just got shredded two weeks in a row. That never happens to BB/Brady. They might be able to right the ship but so far, they've got problems.

Steelers have their own problems on the other side of the ball and haven't really played anyone yet.

Articles like this are silly, way too early in the season to be drawing any conclusions about a team.

Yeah the overall silliness of this article has me embarrassed for the writer.

I was in Gillette stadium on Sunday. The Patriots D is a legitimate problem. Could not handle the Panthers motion or screen game. The bulk of Patriots fans I spoke to even before the game do not see the Patriots as a contender this year.

Hmmmmm Vegas must not be thinking straight after that terrible tragedy out there. Love the Steelers but no way I would have them ahead of Kansas City at the moment. KC is 4-0 and have beaten much better QB's.

Well, until the Steelers can exercise the curse of the Pats this article is moot. Catapult over the moat...

The Pats line is going to get Brady killed. With the hits he’s going to take he may retire.

Pats opponents so far: KC, New Orleans, Houston, Carolina

    Steelers: Browns, Vikings, Bears, Ravens

As bad as I've heard the Pats D is, they've at least played some quality teams, not so much on our first 4 games. I think we can defer this "catapult" talk until January.

Until Roethlisberger plays better than mediocre... Steelers have not arrived. The two QBs who played last night on MNF... Cousins and Smith played much better overall than Ben.

Oddly enough they are both system QB'S who don't have a reputation for being cerebral QBs

They both played well. If Cousins had a WR like AB, he would be deadly. Both Redskins "pass catching" TEs dropped numerous passes. Pryor and rest of Redskins WR corps couldn't catch a cold. Same thing with Smith... the Chiefs WRs were dropping passes right and left.

I'm all in on Smith as a stop gap if Ben retires at the end of the season. If the Chiefs are foolish enough to let him walk and all indications are that it is their intent then I can't think of a better investment until they find the next franchise guy.

If Ben retires, I'd take either one. Smith or Cousins would be excellent stop-gap QBs until Steelers can draft the next franchise QB.

I bet both of those QBs would love to have AB and Bryant to throw to... plus Connor and Watson at RB beyond 2017.

Problem is the chiefs can get to the playoffs and then they cant win the big one, experience in the playoffs counts and the chiefs only has experience losing once they get there:

    TRIB:
The Kansas City Chiefs are in the Guinness Book of World Records. They set the record for loudest crowd noise in a sports venue in 2014 when a 142.2 decibels reading was registered at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs are not as prominent in the NFL playoff record book. In fact, the loudest stadium in the NFL hasn’t witnessed a playoff victory in more than 23 years.

Since the Chiefs won Super Bowl IV after the 1969 season they are 4-14 in playoff games, the longest postseason losing streak in NFL history. The Steelers, meanwhile, are 35-22 in the playoffs in the same span.

The odds, as you know, have nothing to do with who Vegas thinks is the front runner. It's where the betting is going and trying to balance that.

I prefer Cousins at 4 years and 4 months younger than Smith.

The only problem with Cousins is that dispite holding the Skins hostage for huge amounts of money he still wants to play for them his whole career. Kansas city is pretty much signaling this is it for Smith

Does Cousins truly want to play for the Skins long term to the exclusion of other teams? I don't think we know. Any savvy player is going to say the right things to show his team that he's fully vested in their success, but reality after the season may not end up matching what he's currently saying.

Also, I don't know the Chiefs' cap situation for 2018, but with Mahomes being raw and on a cheap rookie contract, I can easily envision a tag next year to add a year to the bridge.

Ben scored 26 points this week, neither smith or cousins scored 26 last night, i'll stick with ben for now and pass on cousins and smith and without hunt and hill smith would be mediocre like he was in his playoff game, ben was as well but he got the win....

Diamond not to disagree with what is clearly a personal choice but by this logic Blake Borties would be a better qb this year than Ben since he put up 57 points on the Ravens

Bortels has 1 TD in each of his other 3 games with 3 picks for a total of 7 TDs, Ben has 6 TDs and 2 picks in 4 games, at the end of the year we can match up who has the better stats most likely ben will win that contest..
