No complaints but I do have some concerns. I'm too happy with the win to deal with them tonight though.

Did the NFL office ever give an explanation for the knee is down after a catch, then ball comes out is actually an interception play?

They ruled that he never demonstrated possession therefore the knee doesn't count, the ball is still live and never touches the ground so INT.

WOW. I saw the replay during the game and it looked like he took several steps with the ball and no announcers commented that could be a factor.

Does anybody have the video, because I must remember wrong. I don`t remember him bobbling it/no control before ball came out.

yeah I was wondering about that so checked on the replay
3 clear steps plus a 4th as he is going down
seems like they have a new version of what counts as a catch every week now that they centralized replay
replay is now decided based in how the polling went for last weeks calls ;)

The penalties by the O-line , not putting the Ravens away in the 3rd qtr. Ben missing Bryant on another deep pass .

Yeah he looks like he has possession to me and made a football move but that was the reason they gave.

Thanks, but I really hope an apology by the NFL is coming or visual evidence of lack of control because as it stands now, there seems to be no explanation why that has proof. From a Steeler fan`s view it looks like a huge fraud by the NFL to try to keep the game competitive.

It`s too easy to just drop this and walk away because next time it could cost us a season.

Up by 10 points and you’re biting your nails? We never trailed, the defense had 4 sacks, a couple turnovers, and gave up 9 points. The ravens had one drive the whole game.

That sequence was almost as weird as the blocked fg attempt last week against the Bears. I think for a few seconds Dan Fouts was rendered speechless.

This game as it is today bears scant resemblance to the game even five years ago. The catch/ possession rules, roughing rules.....? Too much of it left to interpretation. It makes some of the games cumbersome.

Biggest complaint I took from today's game is penalties. They have to clean it up in order to get where they want to be.

I was watching with the sound down at that point and couldn't work out what the issue was. When I saw the interception ruling I guess that was the reason. But it's very odd. Especially as the video evidence has to show clearly against the call on the field, when it seemed to me (as objectively as possible) that the video evidence leaned more towards it being a catch.

I also don't understand how much they can introduce in the replay review. So - correct me if I'm wrong, as I had the sound down - the challenge was that the runner was down by contact when the fumble occurred. But the refs then spotted (rightly or wrongly) that he never had possession, so it was an INT. But what happens if they also see, say, defensive holding on the play? Or if the receiver was having his facemask pulled, etc.? Does that then get called?

These aren't rhetorical questions, I genuinely don't know!

The Ravens literally threw away 21 points. Wallace drops what would have been a TD when he toasted Artie Burns. Flacco threw a poor pass to a WIDE open Perriman who was unable to make the catch and he over threw another wide open Wallace which would have been a sure TD as well. The rush defense gave up 73 yards on 2 plays when they knew the run was coming, the defense did ok against a struggling team but make no mistake, they got lucky that the Ravens are struggling and lack confidence, if Wallace makes that first grab the game looks very different and could have been in the L column. I don't know how many noticed but they took Burns out of man coverage the rest of the game when it became evident early on that he can't do it, and then when they played zone against 3 wide out formations Sean Davis, who early in the game looked like he was starting to learn, looked lost once again, out of position and looking around after completed passes. My new name for Artie Burns is " Artie Burnt", as I said once before, he is a capable zone corner but doesn't have the skill set to be a man corner, just isn't good at it at all.

Before I forget I have one last plea for the Steelers OC. Please don't throw the ball to Vance McDonald anymore, but maybe he gets a pass because a defender was 5 yards away from him and the ball was right at the numbers and it should have been a little higher or lower, I don't know. He hustles and looks like he is interested in blocking now so that is good but he has Ike Taylor' dreaded "hands of stone" for sure.

Never thought I would be more worried about the Jaguars than the Ravens.

We've seen more of James H in Weight Room videos than on the field.

My complaint was Landry was not given a hat when he could have reminded Ben the do's and don'ts in quarterbacking.

True, though I'm not sure why Baltimore pays Flacco.
