This is what the defense should do against Baltimore's crappy offense. They forced three turnovers and sacked Flacco four times. Now if they can just figure out the damn stretch play. Baltimore basically had two big runs and did nothing else on the ground today.

    I'll take that.

    Good game from Bell.

    Sensible passing game.

    Generally solid D.

    Good stuff.

Even when things weren't going our way in the second half, I never really had a sense the Steelers would lose. I just think that Baltimore's offense is that bad.

It’s pretty incredible how good we’d be if the offense could get it’s crap together. I mean, we could be REALLY good.

Our D is good enough to support our supposed elite offense lol not carry this team.

Injuries do matter and Ravens have too many. I'd agree if anybody keeps us honest it will be Bengals. As some of the early scores indicate every week can hold surprises but barring major injuries the Steelers are the class of the AFC North. Bye week would be awesome but right now the AFC looks wide open for those 2 spots.

That was how I was last week, like no matter what they would win. This week I had that rivalry game dread

    This.

I think the Rats getting pummeled by an improved, but still very pedestrian Jags team underscored that Baltimore isn't very good even without all the injuries.

Listen, I'll give up yards on the ground v. yards in the air any day. Go look up your 1975 Steelers.

Wanna bet? The "realists" will just say that the Ravens suck, and this game didn't mean anything. We should have won 50-0, blah blah blah

The Ravens DO suck. This game meant a ton (as close to a must win as you can get on October 1st). We squandered maybe 10 points.

The best part? We're not even close to firing on all cylinders yet. Watch out when we do.

Juju is 5 years younger than I am. I feel old too, don't worry about it.

That Interception that they gave them was even worse because it was on third down with no chance of getting the first anyway!

I think this is the right takeaway IMO. This team blooms late, like it or not. If we can keep winning while things come together, look out.

I thought they were going to lose but not because of those silly reasons.

As always health will be a big key . I think we could still use another solid DB overall the D looks good .Adding a man capable CB did exactly what i thought it could. A upgrade at Safety could make this D elite.
