Get back to running the ball. Leveon Bell needs to touch that ball 25-30 times a game.

Ben needs to throw it about 25 times a game.

When you successfully run the ball you control the clock, and tire out the defense.

Look no further than what the bears did to us yesterday.

Also do not let special teams be a reason you lose, special teams gave up a 10-13 point swing yesterday.

I don't agree. This is the worst 2-1 team in the NFL. There's too many issues and weaknesses on both sides of the ball. Most of which will not be cured without drafting and FA acquisition. I thought the D was weak in the secondary. Hell.. yesterday, the front 7 was gashed like never before by a below average offense.

On paper, we are going to be alright..... in reality it's up to these players to get their heads out of their a$$e$...... We NEED a playmaker to compliment AB. So far AB has been the only one to show up week to week. Bell, Bryant, JuJu, Jesse, someone on offense needs to pick it up a notch.

Ben does deserve some criticism for his performance against the Bears but he'll take it on the chin like he always does. That's our leader on offense, or even generally, but we all know the Steelers are a late season team for better or for worse.

One game against an NFC team on the road really isn't a big deal, provided we didn't get too hurt by it.

This. We all need to accept our weaknesses, it is what it is. We are still a good ballclub in the end.

I think the Steelers are an 8-8 team. This team reminds me of the '12 and '13 squads. 8-8 might get us a division title in the North this year. :icon mrgreen: One good thing is... Flacco and Dalton have tanked worse than Ben.

Na man we got spanked last year in Philly and Miami and still won 11 games. Our defense improved and offense regressed I would call it a wash.

Utter bollocks. If you've never seen a Steelers team get gashed on the ground you must have started watching this season.

'Gashed like never before' 'This is the worst 2-1 team in the NFL'

Cry baby hyperbole at its finest.

The same plays worked for the Bears over and over. They kept running a misdirection play/ cutback where the RB went the opposite direction of the blocking of the O-line. It gained the Bears offense at least 15 yards on several plays. The Steelers had no answer for it.

There's no holes, the O-Line has been woeful run blocking so far and Bell looks he's about 80%, or sulking. Ben is off, no-one except Brown can get open enough, looks to me like Tuitt is now the best player on this defense, with Watt developing nicely.

Again, just another Steeler let down game.

That's poor coaching, they used our aggressiveness and speed against us all game. Steelers as ever at HT didn't adjust to anything. ****ty performance when the Rats just completely laid down for us in London, next week should have been a freebie for the Steelers.

I think its symptomatic of a mediocre league where's there's so little between the teams, it seems to be a lot about what 'spot' a team is in as much as anything, Raiders absolutely tanked last night - Denver next week. Rats put up the worst showing i've ever seen from them, Steelers let-down again.

I think someone said at one point, yesterday 8 out of 10 games either were won by the dog or the dog covered.

Looks to me like defenses have caught up the arms race again, scoring is down, and the arena ball football we have been seeing looks to be on the way out, and that's a great thing for the game.

Right now our expensive offense is offensive to say the least. Ben, Bell, all the receivers and TE's not named Brown and the oline have been way below the line as MT likes to say. Defense gave up 17 points. With our weapons that should win most if not all games. My problem is what happened to all the slant passes that carved them up on the one touchdown drive? It is like they wanted to try a bunch of different plays no matter the outcome of the game. It was a weirdly called game in terms of playcalling.

Let's not forget, as much as we have piled on the defense...... the defense did get two turnovers that setup the opportunity for 10 of our points too (should have been 14)

This isn't a SB caliber team. That's all that matters around here. It's been nine years without a champiobship. Lets be honest too: That 2010 team was lucky the Jets did them a favour.
