I don't know if this is being taken out of context, I didn't hear an audio of this, I just saw this being talked about on Mike and Mike today but Flacco thinks he is the best QB in the league :roflmao: Now before some of you get on me and say "what is he supposed to think", there is a difference from thinking that and saying that. Even thinking it is delusional, I'm all for self confidence but get a grip, you think you are better then Rodgers, Brees, Brady? IMO, he is not even better then Ben, Eli, Rivers, Stratford and Peyton if he still has his game.

I saw that. He basically said "I think I am the best, I think every successful QB should think that" or something along those lines. I disagree. Some people are defending him saying you have to have that sort of confidence to do well, but it's just stupid. Nobody on the planet really thinks Flacco is the best QB in the game, so just stop.

I think if he said "I feel I'm in the upper echelon of Quarterbacks, and if I keep working at my game can one day become the best Quarterback in the game." Then sure, that's confidence and stating that you want to get there. To say he's already arrived is just dumb.

I'll bet you Tom Brady, Peyton Manning (in his prime), and Aaron Rodgers wouldn't say they think they're the best even though they would actually have some right to say so, because in my opinion that shows complacency.

Flacco is just pushing for a bigger contract. I personally hope he forces the Ravens to break the bank on him, because I think Flacco is very average and benefits hugely from Ray Rice's running/receiving game, and the place action that goes with it. I posted this on a PFT article yesterday... The Ravens lost 4 games to inferior competition this past season (SD, Jax, Sea, and Ten)... Ray Rice averaged 9 carries in those 4 games. So when Rice doesn't get touches (meaning Flacco is throwing a lot) the Ravens lose, and to bad teams.

If he didn't think that. Then he would have no confidence to continue to get better. I believe every QB should be able to say that with pride.

I'm sorry but that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Read my above statement.
