Do people really believe we will avg 30/game? We need to get a whole lot better on offense.

The Browns have found the right Coach and right QB . The Browns are no longer Clowns IMO . Hue is a great play caller and game manager .Kizer missed a couple of big play throws by inches that could have very well changed the game .As he gets more experience we will see the Browns be very competitive .

Great win here is why. On our last 2 superbowl teams we got close to losing to inferior opponents, as well as losing some ugly ones. Good teams find ways to win.

    2008 team:

    W @ cleveland 10-6 browns went 4-12
    W 11-10 vs chargers went 8-8

    lost 15-6 @ philly
    lost 31-14 @ tennessee

    2010:

    w @ bills 19-16 OT vs 4-12 team
    w @ tennessee 19-11 vs 6-10 team

    lost 39-26 vs NE

What did everyone think about Eli as punt returner? I was fine with it, but thought he could have shown some more awareness on one punt. Don't remember the quarter (1st half I believe) but there was one punt that fell inside the 5 yd line or so and Eli was around the 10, staring toward midfield. The ball bounced upfield and he seemed oblivious, but we were lucky it didn't bounce into him as he had no clue where it was. I'm probably nitpicking, but I was wondering what the heck are you looking at :lolol:. Overall though I thought he did well this first game.

I thought he did fine. Fielded them all cleanly and didn't try to run side to side. You're right about his decision to let that one bounce, but I think he can be coached up on that stuff.

for sure on the coaching, we all know the rule of thumb is stand at the 10 and if it goes over your head, let it go. But hopefully April will tell him to keep an eye on it and see where it goes, I think he was staring at the cheerleaders:lolol: I'd probably be doing the same....

    Just as I thought.

Jacksonville is ready to challenge the AFC South Crown if their key pieces stay healthy.

Went out for the game so didn't get on the board, but all I can say after the fact is... ooof. Should have been a gimme game, but since it was division, a win is a win. I'll take it, but hope we can knock off some more rust and maybe Haley can tweak the O play calling a little more before next week. Very pleased with JJ and TJ's contributions today.

Interesting to see the Raven's blank the Bengals in game one, and I'm still living high off of poor Tommy Boy's second half Thursday night. Here's to next week! :steelflag:

I do not think drafting consecutive top 5 talents in Fowler, Ramsey and Jack with big signings like Campbell and Malik Jackson would be considered silent in my opinion.

    That defense is insanely taleneted.

Good thing 44 blocked that punt. and 56 fell on it.

Did the broadcast seem off to anyone else? Not sure if it was a new cameraman, or different angles but the passes all looked awkward like they were fluttering or they couldn't follow them. The punt block was almost missed because of the camera work. It just seemed bad
