Probably the reason we got a 7th for Coates. Thinking about the future. Lol!

If your gonna draft somebody to do one thing, it's a darn shame he can't do that one thing

I get trading Sammie, what I don't get is why it's a 6th or 7th whatever... Could've atleast got a 5th MAYBE THEY TRIED... Hell we got a 5th for a damn good receiver in his time that just was part of one of the best super bowl plays ever... Still can't figure that one out either. Whatever I'm drunk good day

This is why you never draft a long snapper. Don't care if it is sixth round it is always a dumb pick.

I hear ya but there's a difference what we think somebody is worth and what a team who knows that a player will be cut is worth.

The interesting thing here is if they would have cut him the Browns were first in line on the waiver wire. Browns had to have competition to trade for him, or they simply could have waited

    Come on guy...

you're the one who "didn't get" why they only got a 6th or 7th.... What is there not to get? They accepted the best offer there was. There's nothing not to get. It's pretty cut and dry.

Uh oh, Hobla cut, I hear Mac running to his computer :lolol:

What a disappointment this whole thing with Golson has been. Had so much potential too.

Suprised Mac hasn't been on to discuss yet. I thought his post about not counting out Kanaday was complete huey.

    He had it right.

A 6th round from the Browns is pretty close to a 5th round pick

I think they just gave us our 6th round pick back (the one we gave for Gilbert).

When we picked Holba my top targets were Elijah Lee (cut by Vikings) and Ejuan Price (made Rams 53).

It's likely both would have been cut here anyways.

Kameron Canaday, the guy who performed better in camp and the pre-season. He wears number 46.

No doubt. That has to be a pick that the FO would like a Milligan on.
