Terrell Watson

I hope they keep him, get rid of Fitz and Knile for all I care. Watson has that old school down hill running style, more likely he ends up on the PS.

 

I agree, I like the way he runs. He even has some make-you-miss to go with his bruising power style. By all accounts he can catch and pick up the blitz too. I'd love to see him as the 3RB, but the two things he has going against him are the facts that he is not a big special teams contributor and he has an inexperienced #2 (Conner) in front of him. My guess is they keep Touissant and try to stash him on practice squad. And if that happens and he gets picked up by another squad I will be less than happy.

 

You know me I appreciate a punishing style runner I am all for keeping him and putting him on the 53 .He has good feet for a big man and some nice wiggle in the hole . If between him and Fitz really no choice for me. If between him and Davis a bit more to think about,but would still keep Watson.

 

Fitz is injured and both he and davis can definitely be replaced by watson.

Not taking a shot at Fitz here but after watching Watson I feel we need to keep him and let Fitz go. We can hope Fitz makes it thru and we can put him on the PS. Fitz has been ok, but with Bell and than Conner at 1 & 2 we are talking about our #3/4 and I like what Watson showed. Not enough spots for all these backs.

 

Watson did himself a lot of favors Saturday. If the Steelers don't keep him, I think he will catch on another roster quickly.

I was quite impressed after his 39 yard pass catch that he had several solid runs, he had to be winded. I actually think he wanted to come out, but Tomlin was like, no my man your staying in, we got to see what you got.

 

davis sure hasn't earned anything from his kick return duties.

 

I completely agree. I've about had it with Fitz. Want him out of Pittsburgh, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

 

Why do the Steelers fall in love with some real crap players? It is insane. Croissant sucks.

 

I really thought Davis would have had a better showing on kick returns. I had liked what he did in the past. But so far, he hasn't shown much.

I'm all for keeping Watson over Fitz and Davis. If they go with Fitz over Watson and try to stash him on the PS don't be surprised if the Colts pick him up since they saw him first hand. Gore is getting up there and he would be a nice compliment to the speedster Mack. Hope he is on our 53 though.

 

Davis could be the odd man out. The Steelers haven't returned a KO for a TD since opening week 2010. I'm not sure it matters who gets put back there.

 

why not mr. speed and ST ace DHB as the kick returner?

 

I was just the opposite I didn't like the signing of Davis so for me I would be more that happy if he was the one we let go. If it comes down to us keeping one of the three I would like to see Watson as the one. I think we would be able to put Fitz on the PS so I think we wouldn't lose him, jmo.

Allen Rossum or Larod Stephens-Howling would get my vote but Logan was a phenom as well.

 

Yeah and if Steven Jackson is one of them I'd say now's the time to finally get him. Especially if Bell is gonna continue to hold out. I think seeing us go get Steven Jackson would light a fire under him.

 

If they cut Watson and keep Kniles Davis I will be more than just disappointed.

Davis has shown nothing.

 

I disagree about Davis. I think he has shown that he's not good at football. But I digress.

 

I don't think it matters who the back up turns out to be. Le'Veon Bell is going to get all the work.
