My take on all this is, the owners make big bucks, the players make big bucks, the coaches make big bucks, the TV stations make big bucks, the concessions at the stadium make big bucks, the parking places make big bucks, the hotels make big bucks, they all make big bucks and Goodell makes big bucks at the head of it all, so yea he does deserve to be paid an outrages salary. The fan who makes it all happen is at the low end of the totem pole with the little bucks, oh well I guess that's capitalism.

More like Supply Side Economics. Here is my variation of the totem pole using said theory.

-Rodger gets big marketing and media deals done. This gives all 32 Owners a bigger platform to showcase their product.

-Owners earn money to further increase their venues for more revenue and income from said deals. Said money then can be used to also hire coaches and resign players.

    - General Managers and Coaches then construct a "product" (team essentially) that the owners can market towards their local markets.

-National Media and Local Media generate excitement to entice fans and give each "major product" (Franchise) coverage to boost their appeal.

-Players train to compete at their highest level to ensure that they can continue success for each NFL season that comes and passes to live up to expectations of owners, managers, coaches, fellow players and fans alike. By showcasing their talents and having consistent winning seasons, this allows players to not only ensure that fan attendance remains high and consistent but also maintain their employment on their own team or take their talents elsewhere if they so choose.

    - Fans get to spectate the "major product" and "product" at a fee; enjoying and persevering through all forms of circumstances each game their favorite team is under. So long as the team maintains a winning tradition within each season and can consistently get into the tournament known as the "NFL Playoffs", fan attendance will remain high.

I would not use that terminology. :lolol:

However, I would say he has developed a "God Complex" since Big Ben's alleged case back in 2010. Ever since then, Goodell truly believes he is above the law....

... Then again.. 31 Teams with their drafting of Article 46 gave him even more authoritarian rule to oversee everything and become the law itself.

His inability to walk the finite line of what is right vs. what he believes so is just the tip of the spear as to why I do not like him.
