I will be sitting in Heinz Field, hopefully watching ALL the killer Bs tearing up the Indy first string D, and our vastly improved pass rush make Luck wish he had chosen to be an accountant instead of an NFL QB.

Question for the yinzers: I'll be coming with the wife and kids. We are arriving in Pittsburgh on Friday late afternoon / early evening. They have never been to Primanti's, and I'd like to give them the full 'Burgh experience. I was thinking of going there before the game on Saturday. Will it be crazy busy? Are we better off going on Friday evening? And if not, any recommendations on a good chop house for Friday night? We are staying at the Drury for reference sake.

    Thanks,
    DD63

Saturday afternoon in the strip will be busy, but a lot of fun. Go for it. Plus near Primanti's, you will have several good options to pick up Steelers gear.

That sounds like a good plan. Speaking of Steelers gear, we are driving by Grove City on the way in. Are we better off buying gear there, or in Pittsburgh? My son has his heart set on a Leveon Bell jersey.

For the jersey, stop in Grove City. For random other stuff, buy it in the strip. The strip is where Primantis is, FYI.

This, our strip district was known to most locals is where produce for the region came in by either trucks/rail.

Still on the weekends vendors still sell fresh produce /food. The area is/has gone thru a major transformation in the last 30 years.

Lots to do/ look at down here. The original Primanti's in located here.

Grove City seems to have more jersey options than even at the stadium.

Thanks. I have been to the Strip District before, but it has been awhile. I had heard it was beginning to get a bit run down. Glad to hear it has kept up. I'm sure we will enjoy spending some time (and $$$) there next weekend.

We were planning on taking the ferry to the stadium. Anything we should know about it beforehand?
