Official TSF Training Camp thread-2017

Day 1: AB and Deebo arrive in style, time to get to work. The other Stafford formerly of Detroit is a no show pondering retirement. Big news AV get a very resaonable and well deserved 4 year deal.

Day 2: RAIN, RAIN and more Rain but..... Artie going after AB second camp in a row, giving as good as he is getting enough that Ben calls for Coach T to say something. Secondary playing with a chip as Davis makes a hard play on AB and AB goes down prompting a word from Coach T. Silverback in sweats so TJ getting first team reps.

Stunner for the haterz LOLandry looks good in seven shots does better than Ben.

the hold your breath moment so far Juju goes down but gets treatment and is back out there.

 

You just know Deebo is thinking "Son you need to work out with me. Your legs is way to small to be pushin an 1800 pound sled"

 

Day 3: practice. Hunter is showcasing his strengths making a name for himself in the red zone in seven shots. Burns and Brown continue to sharpen each other. Harrison still in sweats but working hard. Juju didn't practice as he rested the ankle. Sutton didn't finish with a minor injury. Tomorrow first padded practice and real football hopefully clear skies.

 

Lol I don't think they do either but you know Harrison if you aren't pushing 1800 pounds or doing pelvic thrusts of 700 pounds you just aren't working out.

 

Are these eyewitness accounts?

 

They are the ones steelers.com is posting and their Facebook page is linking too. I'm in MN so I have to get my camp news that way.

Figured instead of a game day thread we could get a camp one going just to get things rolling.

 

For those worrying about Cameron and JuJu, fear not.


The injuries are minor for one. More importantly, the pads have not been put on yet. Should such issues continue throughout practice that is now contact oriented, worry then.



Side notes, impressed Golson is on the second team; playing outside no less.


Hear that TJ Watt is improving every day. These next couple of days will be quite intriguing to see just how far he has come in his development thus far.

Hoping the some of the board regulars who do making it to camp every year pop in and give their thoughts on what they are seeing.

 

Just realized Justin Hunter has a good opportunity in front of him.


JuJu and Sammie are dinged in addition to "Goodell's Wrath" hanging over Martavis Bryant, Hunter is not becoming the number two but can assure himself a roster spot.



Dude still has all the tools. Nows the time to put it together.

good news of tj and bud swapping sides from time to time. hunter getting time with ben can only help. fort with a pick gets him involved with pass defense which is a plus. hilton still being involved in the top 6 shows a lot of interest and talent in the kid. all pluses. should be a light day with pads on the first day.

Ben talking with Ike today at camp added some more to the retirement story which may provide a bit more clarity for people. In other news Ben named James Harrison as backup QB

 

Yeah there's no way Hunter is beating AB out of the number 2 spot and he's DEFINITELY not beating DHB out of the number one spot.
