If I am the GM I would make an offer to the Browns; you sign Wallace and trade me a player X for my first round. They get wallace and the 24th pick for the 4th pick. Now the million dollar question is, Who is player X.

If the Steelers trade Wallace to a divisional opponent it would speak volumes about what they think of him.. From all indications, they think a lot more of him than that.

Well there certainly no way Cle would trade Thomas (a perenial pro bowler) their #4 for Wallace and the #24 pick.

Given what the Skins gave the Rams for the #2, if I were Cle, I'm not sure that swapping 1st round picks alone wouldn't be excessive compensation to Pittsburgh for Wallace. I guess I'm saying for Cleveland that even if Player X was the ball boy, I'm not interested in the deal.

I would not trade every player on their roster for Wallace. No one can cover Brown, Wallace and Heath if Ben has the time and our new O.C. can put it together.

More importantly, if our corners can't cover Wallace, there's no point trading him to a team we play twice a year.
