It's tough to make predictions. Especially about the future.

    Record:11-5 (2016 11-5)
    Home record:5-3 (2016 6-2)
    Away record: 6-2 (2016 5-3)
    Division rank: 1st (2016 1st)
    Conference seed: 2nd (or 3rd behind OAK) (2016 3rd)
    Points per game: 28.5 [NFL rank 5th], (2016 24.9)
Points per game against: 19.5 [NFL rank 4th], (2016 20.4)
    Total yards/game: 405, (2016 372.6)
    Rush yards/game: 115, (2016 110)
    Pass yards/game: 290 [NFL rank 4th], (2016 262.6)
    Total yard/game allowed: 335 (2016 342.6/12th)
    Rush yards/game allowed: 90 [NFL rank 8th], (2016 100.0)
    Pass yards/game allowed: 245 [NFL rank 11th], (2016 242.6]
    Sacks: 45 [NFL rank 3rd], (2016 38)

I think our home losses will be NE, GB and the bad loss will be TEN. Away losses will be CIN and KC ( I never like our chances in KC or OAK/LA!) This is me being a realist... I actually think this team SHOULD go 14-2 losing to NE and either @CIN or @BAL. Also possibly dropping one @CLE in a meaningless wk. 16 game.

We're 8 and 8 if we can't get Jimmy Chitwood to play!

I have a slightly different take on my predictions. They are as follows.

    PWP lavishes DHB with praise

Dobbs plays decently in the preseason and Blast rags me for eternity

Landry plays terribly in relief of Ben and Coastal calls for his head. Again.

We lose to the Pats and a certain mailbox fears for its life.

We gain about 3 new members who come and post some of the most asinine things imaginable and get a reality check from all of us old timers and then TTF winds up banning them.

My man Thigpen finally gives up and moves to America to share his brand of British humor with those of us on this side of the pond.

Ok so maybe not the last one but the other ones are the most accurate predictions thus far. LOL!

I know it is hard to see him playing every game. Maybe we should start a thread over/under of how many
    games Ben will miss?

Good job Elvis. I think that will be pretty spot on. They should be better than last year and the improvements you've predicted seem reasonable. :steelflag:

I know that Ben has missed some games over his career but honestly he still seems more than a mere mortal for the games he was in that other qb's certainly would not have been.

Allow 300 yds passing a game? You expect us to be significantly worse in this regard than last season? Our sacks go significantly up, our secondary players are the same (and the 2 rookies are a year older and expect some type of progression in play) and that equals an astronomical rise in passing yards allowed per game? Doesn't seem to add up...

We are facing better Teams and with more sacks comes longer throws needed ...Plus if we play more man we will probably give up bigger pass plays ...

I also expect our Offense to be much more potent this will allow more passing yards as well if Teams are playing from multiple scores down..
