It seems like many Steelers have a signature play that kind of defines their careers. Franco and the Immaculate Reception; Hines Ward busting Keith Rivers jaw; Bettis running over Urlacher; Polamalu and the one handed interception or jumping over the O-Line; James Harrison and the Super Bowl XLIII Interception Return; Santonio Holmes with the toe tap catch; Jack Lambert throwing Cliff Harris to the ground, to name several.

Another sweet day tomorrow as we celebrate Franco Harris. Joe Greene was the reason I became a Steelers fan, but Franco Harris is the reason I have remained one for life.

The Steelers had some talented players in the early years, but not enough. As I look at the jersey numbers, there are few players that played for the team for 3 years or more in the 1930's - 1960's.

Where does everyone stay while they're at training camp? Any good hotels to stay at? I used to stay at a relatives place but they ended up moving. I need some suggestions.

Sadly, its because so many other Steelers were elected. There is no way there should be more offensive players than defensive players from the 1970s in Canton. Both LC Greenwood and Donnie Shell should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame!
