    Dude, I'm not surprised...

Now this makes me dislike the Dobbs draft pick... a few TE's were sitting there for us that could have been taken.

Ravens have a glut of TE's I wonder if we can swoop up one that gets cut?

Just saw this a few minutes ago...

WOW!!!! I was thinking this was going to happen..... Pre-draft

Post draft I had hopes he was recovered and available for us. This was an unexpected hit, I'm quite sure the FO was expecting him to pass his physical.

Too bad I feel for the guy. I really think the Steelers need to consider Gary Barnidge. Be a good guy to pair with Jesse James.

Does waiving guys injured after failed physical save the team money or something?

If it was me, I would have cut Green after the season, and draft his replacement.

Sure he was a tease, I had him on my fantasy last year, he only did good when I had him on the bench

Not me. Jessie James is better than Green and has been from day one. KC said that around the draft. Not he is better but we don't need a TE cause JJ is coming along just fine

I hear that grimble lost close to 20 pounds to increase speed...... that will pretty much make him Ladarius 2.0

Wow, was hoping for 6 or 8 games before losing him.

As far as taking a TE in the draft, all the field stretching TE's were gone early. James is a good TE, no sense in taking another guy like him. Guys like Green who can run down the seam don't grow on trees. If you're not getting that, don't bother drafting what we already have.

OK so first of all wow...didn't see that coming

Secondly, so he and Warren were released from failed physicals. So wonder why a LS was drafted and not a TE, since it seems they had some knowledge of both injuries/extent. The Green one was obvious, but I don't think the Warren injury was (to fans).

Interesting, I wonder if TE Michael Roberts taken 7 or 8 picks before Dobbs was a target? Jake Butt, George Kittle, Jordan Leggit, and Jeremy Sprinkle were at the very top of the fifth round too. But I'm sure they viewed QB (Dobbs) more value since the position is so crucial. Not knocking Outlaw or Grimble just trying to decipher some of their moves.

One would think that maybe they would do that physical BEFORE the draft. Mind boggling to me as there were a handful of decent looking TE's available in the 4th round for us.

Damn, that sucks. I think we all had that fear in the back of our minds, but hoped he'd be productive this year. I wish him well with his life's work.

Well, he certainly was not what we thought we got when he was signed but I think it is a little hind-sighted to think that the team signed him with a history of concussions. If I recall correctly, didn't he say he never had any concussions at SD but was still having headaches, last season? The biggest issue when he was signed, if I am remembering right, was his ankle. But, I agree with everyone else, this sucks. Are any of our new TEs the burner type?

Around 3.9 against the cap next year too.

Not a post June 1st designation either.

At any point, I cannot say I am surprised. In the same vein, there was literally no available options in any of our draft picks.
