    Adam Schefter on twitter :

More filed to ESPN: And now that Peyton Manning has directed his agent to get deal done with Denver, Broncos will try to trade Tim Tebow.

Peyton Manning called John Elway this morning to tell him he's looking forward to coming to play for him.

Peyton Manning has informed the other teams of his decision.

Stains fans here in Ohio are so desperate,

they are trying to get their team to trade for Tebow. Honestly, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Wow, great deal for both. As we've seen, the Broncos have a great team everywhere except QB. Good OL, strong running game, good defense. Wonder what they'll get for Tebow.

Since the AFC North plays the AFC West, then its a wash for our division. The benefit would have been if just the Ravens would have been playing Denver (both 1st place schedule). Oh well, to be the best, you have to beat the best.

What's Manning's record against the Steelers in the playoffs?

If they do trade for Tebow - LAUGH - LAUGH - LAUGH - because it will have been for ONE reason, and that is because Tebow has beaten the Steelers and that is something that none of the last 3 Clown QBs can say. This will be so ugly for the Clowns that by game 8, they'll be clamoring to have Dolt McCoy back!

I dont see anywhere about the Browns trying to trade for him...not sure where thats coming from.

I did read that the Jags could be into him though...the new owner is high on him.

I'm hearing that he probably won't go to JAX and that Khan is the only one that really wants him... although maybe he wins out. Miami seems like a possibility to me. They need a QB, love taking big names, and Tebow is a god in Florida.

I've also heard the Patriots as a possibility. THey've said maybe NE trades him for either Hoyer or Mallett. BB has a history of loving Florida grads and has the ego to think he can make Tebow a star.

And if that is true, they are going after Wallace.

"If I get Peyton Manning and it's a healthy Peyton Manning, I'm thinking Super Bowl," Mayock said. "From my perspective, the first thing I would do is I would try to make Mike Wallace from the Pittsburgh Steelers a very wealthy young man. He's a restricted free agent so I would have to give up my first-round pick, but my first-round pick is only No. 25. I would be happy to give up No. 25 and then I would get after Mike Wallace, try to put together a deal with him.

"After that, remember that [tight end] Dallas Clark — Peyton's old teammate — is out there as a free agent; it wouldn't cost me anything. I would be trying to augment my offensive firepower because Peyton is used to dealing with an average defense; Denver's defense is fine. I'd be really just getting everybody I could get on the offensive side of the ball and say, 'OK, Peyton, it's up to you to win a Super Bowl. Let's go.'"

This could be the best thing to ever happen to Tim Tebow. If I were the Broncos, I would try to keep him and let him learn under the master for 3 or 4 years. Manning is the most mechanically sound QB in the league and Tebow could really benefit from his tutelage.

I totally agree that Wallace could end up in Denver. He would fill a need for them and giving up #25/#26 to get a #1 receiver would be huge for them.

Tebow is going to Miami. Not that he'll be a good fit there whatsoever, but their idiot owner will trade for Tebow just to get fans back in the stadium. They swung and missed on several QB's and they are struggling to sell season tickets. They'll get Tebow not because he'll win them games, which he won't do much of, but because people will come to the stadium to see him.

Thank god the Steelers have the best owners in the game.

they could always keep tebow........... who better to learn from than mannning............ let's face it, the man doesn't have many seasons left, and tebow is still young.... add manning's mechanics to his obvious leadership skills, and you have the makings of a real qb
