    4. shaquill griffen cb
    5. josh malone wr
    6. deangelo henderson rb

Only problem with that is you're drafting a third rounder who would have to replace last year's second rounder. We have a serviceable but highly upgradeable safety and an all-rookie team safety. No need for two that high, but Obie would definately be an upgrade.

not at all. we have played 3 safeties before in a big package. williams may be off the field at times but we we add a ton of speed and coverage.

I would love to see us draft obi but after the combine he moved way up in the 1st round, if we want him we are going to have to trade way up to get him, better keep what picks we have and draft what falls to us......

Hes not a top 10 pick. After you get out of that range, anything is possible, see it every year.

I know there are some guys here who really like this kid and for the record I do as well. I did notice something in his game film that I didn't like and wanted to see if anyone else noticed it, it may not be a big deal but it stood out to me. I was watching Obi when the play was away from him he kinda took the play off, I noticed he halfway goes to the ball. I don't see the hustle and he gives up on it, now a few times it came back his way(usf game) and he wasn't ready. Like I said this may have went unnoticed or may be my OCD kicking it, anyone else noticed this? Again I liked what I saw on this kid, he showed very good ball skills just a little to talk about with him.......thoughts?

is he a top 29-63? if you want him in that range 30 is where we would have to pick him. he's one of the top 2 at his position. how much does that position mean to our defense? can you get a guy with his size and speed later in this draft at that position? probably not. so.... just some things to consider. edge rusher is much deeper than this spot. corner is much deeper than this spot.:cool:

Given Obi's H-W-S, I expect someone to jump on him early. He's also a really good safety.

I don't expect him to be there at #30.

Like the seahawks drafting in front of us, he fits pete carrols concept to a Tee, he sure likes 6-3 6-4 safeties he's a Kam Chancellor type for sure........

Like last year Atlanta took Keanu Neal safety from Florida a little earlier than expected.

I remember last year as we got closer to the draft I kept reading Neal was climbing up the charts. There was a lot of buzz around him and then he got picked at 17.
