Carl Lawson OLB Auburn 6'1 261 lbs ran a 4.67 and did 35 reps on the bench press. Biggest concerns are his past medical history.

I'm warming up to the idea of haason reddick of temple, but his combine performance may have put him out of our reach

I haven't watched enough of him yet, but what I have watched has me intrigued.

Me too....I think him not having a true position is going to allow him to slide though...

I like him, but not drafting a QB in the first round.

Derek Rivers continues to intrigue me. He might be in play at 30 before it is all said and done.

If all options are gone by 30, nab BPA round 1 and try to acquire Jordan Willis.

two guys to work with since we have JH here for two more and chickillo here next year. i talked about this type of scenario earlier. willis, rivers, hall, bowser, fields, javancy jones, hendrickson, dimmick maybe even biegel are all project types with a lot to work with. none would be plug and play but could become a good player in a year or two. i'm still hoping for a guy like watt, first, lawson another and one of these guys as the project. just depends how the chips fall round one.

I wont be surprised if it's a TE, especially is Colbert and Co. Really fall in love with one.

I think the smart money is on OLB or FS, but I think they probably see a big red zone TE as a big priority.

Of the ones who I think will be available I wouldn't be upset with: Lawson, A. Jackson, Engram, Cunningham, Obi but I haven't watched enough of the CBs to add names.

At #30 would love another (high)2nd round pick and a 3rd round pick. Struggling to see a guy we really want that will be there at 30. TJ Watt, maybe

    Obi will play multiple positions.

Safety (either), Corner (mainly outside) and/or linebacker.

Obi - safety/corner, love those type players.

Reddick - I know his weight is a concern but he's not jarvis, he has the fluidity to get around tackles and pressure the QB. He also drops into space seamlessly, he moves that well. Ive even seen talk of him at ILB.

Saw a comparison of Reddick to a young Lawrence Timmons. That would be a good pick then haha

I wasn't so sure about Obi, but he showed he's a freak athlete at the combine... so I'm sure he can find a place to play

Oh... do not worry man. Obi will.

Tomlin and Butler will both see to that. Having their own versatile piece in Ryan Shazier, versatility is now the name of the game. Obi has this in spades without question.

With all the mocks floating around we are going to pick about 10 players at 30, latest mock I saw yesterday had us drafting TJ Watt which I wouldn't mind but several having us drafting OJ Howard, but I don't think he will be on the board at 30 and Watt may not be there either.......

The reality is at this point of the year, guys start moving up draft boards, and guys start moving down. Not everyone can still be in the top 29. We will have someone fall to us that we like. It seems to happen every year. Someone who for the last 4 weeks has been in the top 15 will be pushed down by teams falling in love with a freak athlete who hasn't put something on tape and teams who trade up to get that guy they just can't live without. There is a lot of talent in this draft and I'm pretty sure we are going to have a great 3 rounds.
