Read it was for losing Beachum and also now comp picks are tradeable. So steelers could always use it to move up

We should use that for a back up CB and then not use him.

I'm surprised, it's been a while since we got a third round comp pick. The league usually gives the best third round picks to freaking New England and Baltimore .

 

this may open up a higher qb pick possibly. maybe even a 2nd and still allow us to get what we need on defense. very nice to see.

 

About time. We always get screwed with comp picks. How does Beechum translate to a higher comp pick than say Emmanuel Sanders? Lol

I thought someone was joking when I read the thread title. So glad it is true, that is a huge bonus.

 

I hope we use it wisely ...If a better player gets close to us in rd #1 I would have no problem with them trading up..

 

And as usual the rats get the 35 comp pick in the 3rd round in front of us and cincy gets 3 comps and cleveland gets 4 comps, so we have the rats picking at 35 and the browns picking at 39 in the 3rd....

 

I could see them using that on a qb for sure.

 

Personally, I think they could use that pick for their backup RB, go defense first 3 picks or defense 2/tight end 1 and get our new backup RB in the 3rd.
