Set your DVR's if you have them. They are showing the original broadcast of Super Bowl 14 on NFL Network at 5am this morning. Just figured there were some here that would want to see it. I know the Rams are pretty good but I think I'm gonna pick the Steelers in this one anyway. Fingers crossed...

A win in SB XIV means nothing if they don't win SB XXX.

I think we might beat the Rams so badly they wind up in another town by the time it's all said and done.

I mean, it was a good win and all, but we didn't go through the Patriots so...

And then the other town will tire of them and be ashamed that we beat them so badly that they'll send them back to LA

If I'm not allowed to live in my fears, I'm done living in the past. Tired of Steelers social media posting all this old Super Bowl stuff like that makes up for being the Patriots little brother.

"The Steelers" didn't post this. NFL Network broadcasted it. Which I am fine with because it totally makes me feel so much better about the bottom feeding abysmal failure of a franchise the Steelers are now...

Yeah there was no way Noll could legitimately win with a crappy defense and stupid qb like he had in the 70's.

I know, I was responding to your thread and adding it what the Steelers are doing on social media; Twitter and Instagram. It's the same mindset.

SDOT is right. If we don't win the Super Bowl one year, we should instantly destroy any franchise history that still dares to exist.

If the NFL wasn't ran by the criminal underground of wiseguys in zoot suits fixing all the games like the Black Sox then the NFL Network would be running the masterpiece that was the 2011 Steelers-Pats game around the clock. Instead they just throw us this random bone to distract like children with a piece of candy. Thank you Roger. Your desensitization is complete. I love you and will forever serve you. I believe all that you say.:bowdown::bowdown:

I was going to post something else about this, but then this guy turned up at my door, handed me a wad of notes and just said "ssshhhhhhh...."

He may or may not have been Marshawn Lynch.

They are only trying to draw out all of us Steeler fans who have gone off the grid, living underground, in shame. It will never work...never!

What I remember about that SB was I was very concerned at the half that we could lose because we looked flat.

The other thing I remember is it seemed to me the only thing working on offense was Bradshaw to Stallworth deep.

Eventually we won comfortably on the scoreboard, but the game was closer than the score IMO.

    Just my recollection.

I hope memories is not all we have to look forward to. Hoping 3 trips to the SB in the Big Ben era is not all we get.

And then the fickle LA fan-flakes will lose interest when the Rams don't produce overnight (like they've done in the past) and the team will pull out in the middle of the night and head south - right past San Diego - destination - Mexico City! The players will feel right at home since Mexico City is pretty much a clone of Los Angeles. Still hoping the Raiders move to Las Vegas - only about 2 hour trip from here and better chance to catch an occasional Steeler game without all the LA gridlock and nastiness.

how many people thought after that win it would take 26 years to win another? after being so dominant in the 70's to go through the 80's and 90's and be pretty average at best was tough.

oh the pain of all those qbs we had to watch between Bradshaw and Ben. some people on this board have no idea. if they did they wouldnt be so quick to want Ben gone. it was a rough time to be a Steelers fan.
