    Says he is ahead of schedule in his recovery, and the team will try to "bridge the gap" in the short term. Says he'll be on the sidelines when the season starts.

    I just assumed that since he wouldn't be able to properly work during the offseason and summer, that they'd just go ahead and replace him for the year and then bring him back in 2013, if he was up to it. Not just to make sure you have a devoted guy there all season, but also to let him focus on himself and his family. But if he's really up for it, more power to him I guess. Glad to hear he's doing well.
