So if UDFAs Foster or Legursky sign elsewhere, we get squat?

They've both been tendered at a third round level. If someone signs them , Steelers would get their third rounder.

I'm under the impression that Wallace received a 1st rd tender that's gonna pay him 2.7 mil(i think) and the remaining 5 RFA received an "original rd tender" which will pay them 1.26 mil. If we lose Mundy we'll get a 7th rd pick and if we lose either Legs or Foster we get squat since they were UDFA. If we sign and keep all six it'll cost us around 9mil in cap space and right now we're between 12-14mil under the cap. That leaves 3-5 mil for rookie signings if no other moves are made-not enough in my opinion so look for a couple more cuts/releases.

And that's IF we don't sign Wallace to a long term deal, which I believe we will (either that or lose him). I don't see him playing this year for less than $3 million. He'll want to get paid while it's guarenteed, and not risk injury or something that could cost him tens of millions. I think there's some more fat to trim, so to speak *cough*HAMPTON*cough... I want to keep him, but he needs to take a pay cut.

Guess i was incorrect. Read in a few other spots that they would get nothing for an UDFA. My bad.

Third level, not third round level. Whatever though. I think you should be able to put whatever round you want on them, and pay them accordingly. Then let the other teams decide if they want to give up that pick.
