Jacobs is one of the biggest A-holes in the whole league, plus he's actually not even an effective short yardage guy considering how big he is. He runs too high. Our problem was the OC, we addressed that, we don't need Jacobs nor would we want him. The guy is a cancer.

He is a big back that can go beat off defenders somewhere else.

Not going to comment on Jacobs as a cancer, only because I havent cared about him enough to pay attention. What I do know is we ran way to many third and 1 or 2s out of empty backfields last year, and almost never put in our most effective short yardage back in those situations. When your go-to play on third and one is the bubble screen, no back in the NFL is going to help you.

Why is he the biggest A-hole and a cancer? I am just curious. Is it because of the Rex Ryan fiasco? or the fact that he complained he wasn't getting the ball enough? because if that's the case I guess 99% of players in the NFL are cancers.

    REDMAN.

No need for Jacobs; we already have our short-yardage back on the roster, and now with an OC who will utilize him.

In the past maybe...but nowadays...I dont think he'd give us much more than we already have. Plus he was to make like $4-5 mil with the Giants...and he wouldnt take a pay cut down to 1.5 mil to help out with the cap/etc...so they cut him. So its highly unlikely that he'll be cheap(er)....and the Steelers dont have room as it is.

I thought Redman was our short yardage guy? If you tell me he's anything other than that then I'd suggest you reevaluate his running skills and overall speed.

There seems to be some confusion... This should clear things up.

Now, Mike Tolbert would really solve things!

I'm going to start a "sign a fast receiver, hard hitting safety, and pass rushing OLB" thread.

He was let go by the giants, I wouldn't mind ths Steelers picking him up if the price was right.
