We're in very decent cap shape right now...

We're pretty middle of the road right now as far as cap space available, we're 10.5 mil under. Ed Bouchette was right when he said that getting under would be painful but really not that hard. I still think Big Snack should take a pay cut.

It's time to lock up Wallace because we definitely have the room.

I agree; get Wallace and cut Hampton or significantly reduce his pay.

I too think Hampton should take a very significant pay cut......If for some reason Poe would/could fall to us in round one, at that point would we release Hampton or keep him around for another year as a mentor?

Just saw on Adam Schefter's face book that the league is taking away millions from the Rowboys and Redskins salary cap because of how they front-loaded deals during the uncapped year. Finally some of the teams who have been seemingly able to sign anybody and everybody get penalized for their shady accounting.

Tender free agents, sign draft picks (about 4 million)... and don't forget Cotchery....

that is basically all 10.5 right there....

Cowboys lose $10 million in cap space, Redskins lose $36 million in space. Can split it over 2012 and 2013 any way they want.

Dont think so...the cap was announced a couple days ago...and this taking from the Cowboys/Skins cap is just happening! Though I think its unfair they are doing that to those teams. So what if they front load contracts? Thats smart...a lot of teams have done this...just because it was an uncapped year shouldnt mean they couldnt have front loaded deals.

If you read the article though, it says that all teams will have $1.6 million added to their cap number. Unless I am mis-reading it.......

I'm not disputing that...I'm saying its not included in the 120 mil...its in addition to that.
