I am more than happy that the Browns will not be getting RG3 in the draft this yr. Had they drafted him, he'd have been a royal pain in our collective asses for the next decade. Thank you Dan Snyder!

Not with the receivers/line they have on their roster currently. I'm happy for RG3's sake, because what Cleveland would have had to give up to get him would have set them back YEARS. And - RG3 would have been another Tim Couch - or whomever you wish to put into the lineup of the Clowns for the past 13 years. He would have been worn out by the time he reached the end of his rookie year, and the Clowns wouldn't have any draft picks to help protect him.

Redskins better hope this kid is the real deal or they have killed themselves. Gave up a ton for him.

THe Browns probably would've screwed him up anyway... but you're right. In terms of just talent RG3 probably would've been the 2nd best QB in the division.

Second best QB would still see the Clowns in last place. I'm more scared of them getting better NOW than I was if they had been able to pull off a trade. They may actually be doing things right and getting BETTER.

I think it's foolish if they give up on Colt McCoy. He has crap for WR's and his best option is an old tight end in Watson. But, the Browns will give up on him.

I hear they want to throw cash at Matt Flynn or Kevin Kolb if the Cards get Manning... I think it's hilarious, and shows why they are perennial bottom feeders.

I completely agree. In fact, I think they would also be foolish not to offer a contract to Mike Wallace. They would have to give up a 1st rounder to us, but he is a better commodity than most of what is coming out college in most cases. With their first pick, they could take Trent Richardson. This would give them a couple of good weapons to go with Massaquoi and McCoy. If McCoy can't perform with those weapons, then you have to look elsewhere. But, right now...you can't even assess how good he is, because he has nothing to work with.

I sense robert griffin III will be a bust so I wish the browns got him. I see more akili smith than cam newton with him.

THey're not going to give up the #4 pick for Wallace, nor should they.

I think they have their sights on Matt Flynn.

I believe they can give up the 22nd pick as the compensation. Is that not correct?

I agree as well. I've always thought McCoy was a decent QB - if he was our BU, I wouldn't be unhappy. But the Browns haven't replaced the talent that left a few seasons back at the receiving positions, and Massaquoi hasn't developed from his earlier promise.
